摘要: This invention provides a board positioning method where a stopper and so on are not required when positioning a printed board in an X direction. Servo motors of a board supplying conveyer portion and a board positioning portion are driven to start carrying of a board. When a first board detection sensor detects the board before timeout of a first timer which starts timekeeping together with the carrying of the board, second and third timers start timekeeping. The servo motor starts decelerating, decelerates to an arbitrary speed, and keeps a constant speed after timeout of the second timer. When a second board detection sensor detects the board before timeout of the third timer, the servo motor is controlled to decelerate and stop the board at an arbitrary position, and a board recognition camera takes an image of a positioning mark of the board stopping at the board positioning portion to recognize a position of the printed board. The CPU controls the servo motors based on a result of the recognition in manufacturing running.

摘要: This invention provides a low-cost electronic component feeding device which stabilizes a pickup position of an electronic component and does not require a highly accurate sprocket. A component feeding unit is fixed to an adjusting jig, a recognition camera moves to a component pickup position and takes an image of each of feeding teeth formed around a sprocket, and a recognition processing portion performs recognition processing and calculates a position of each of the feeding teeth. In this case, for each of the numbers corresponding to the feeding teeth checked through a checking window, positional data of each of the feeding teeth which are a recognition processing result of the recognition processing portion are stored in a memory by using an input device. After such an adjusting operation of the component feeding units is completed, the component feeding units each mounted with a storage tape are fixed to the electronic component mounting apparatus. Then, an XY stage is driven to move a head unit to the component feeding unit, and the CPU corrects a pickup position of a suction nozzle based on the positional data.

A component mounting apparatus sends notice information about component shortage to a control computer when a number of electronic components in a storage member reduces and reaches a level for sending the notice information of component shortage during mounting operations. The control computer stores the notice information, and sends the notice information to a monitor computer to display this information on a monitor. A new storage member having the corresponding components is set in the component feeding unit based on the displayed notice information, and an operator inputs information A about which component feeding unit is set with the storage member and which components are stored in the storage member set in the component feeding unit. The monitor computer sends the information A and information about completion of registration of a relation between the component feeding unit and the components to the control computer, and the control computer stores this information in a memory and sends the information about registration to the monitor computer, and the monitor displays the notice information in a different color.

摘要: The invention provides an electronic component feeding device which can stably feed electronic components, and an electronic component mounting apparatus having the electronic component feeding device. In a component feeding unit, an opening provided in a suppressor for picking electronic components is formed in a size corresponding to electronic components stored in a storage tape of 16 mm pitch so as to employ storage tapes of four types, i.e., 4 mm pitch, 8 mm pitch, 12 mm pitch, and 16 mm pitch. When the storage tape of 4 mm pitch is employed, a component pickup position of a suction nozzle and a feed stop position of a head electronic component have been conventionally in a center of the opening. In this invention, however, the CPU 81 controls drive motors in a tape feeding system based on operation switches, so that the feed stop position is set on an upstream side of the opening 27A by feeding the storage tape by 2 mm first, and the component pickup position of the suction nozzle is shifted to the upstream side from the center of the opening by 6 mm. From a next operation, the storage tape is intermittently fed by 4 mm pitches, and the feed stop position and the component pickup position are set in the above corrected position.
