    WHEREIN R1, R2 and R3 have the same meanings as mentioned above, in the presence of the zinc or zinc compound catalyst.

    USING SELECTED ZINC COMPOUNDS OR METALLIC ZINC AS A CATALYST. R1 represents hydrogen atom or alkyl group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R2 represents alkyl group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms, in case of R1 being hydrogen atom, R2 represents tertalkyl group containing 4 to 8 carbon atoms and R3 represents straight or branched alkylene group containing 2 to 4 carbon atoms. The alkyl aminoalkyl acrylates of the invention are prepared by reacting an alkyl acrylate of the general formula: CH2 CH - COOR4 wherein R4 represents alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms with an alkyl aminoalkanol of the general formula:

    摘要: An oxidation catalyst for purifying exhaust gases of internal combustion engines comprising a monolithic multicellular chemically inert refractory support of an apparent bulk density of 0.2 to 0.7 g/cc having therein 25 to 300 gas flow channels per square inch of its cross-sectional area and supporting thereon a deposit of activated alumina and a deposit of at least one heavy metal oxide, the weight ratio of the alumina to the heavy metal oxide being 1:0.2 to 1:0.5, the total weight of the two deposits being 130 to 500 g per liter of the catalyst on the average total thickness of the two deposits being 50 to 300 microns and preparing the same.

    摘要: A catalyst used for the purification of exhaust gases from internal combustion engine and waste gases from industrial plants is produced by dissolving an alumina sol with an inorganic acid to form an alumina sol solution, adding thereto a powdered alumina which contains at least 50 % by weight of rho alumina and is capable of forming, upon calcination, an activated alumina to form an alumina slurry, immersing in the alumina slurry a monolithic multicellular chemically inert support, while maintaining said alumina slurry at 0* to 30*C, to deposit an alumina layer on to the surface of said support, aging the alumina layer at a temperature of 50*C or below for at least 30 minutes, drying the alumina layer to form a thin alumina film on the surface of the support, impregnating the so treated support in a noble metal containing solution and activating the so impregnated support.
