摘要: A gas production device 1 comprises a connection unit 2 for supplying an exhaust gas including carbon dioxide CO2, a reducing gas supply unit 3 that supplies a reducing gas including H2 that reduces a reducing agent 4R that has been brought into an oxidized state by contact with the carbon dioxide CO2, the reducing agent including a metal oxide that generates CO by reducing the carbon dioxide CO2, and a reaction unit 4 provided with a plurality of reactors 4a to 4d connected respectively to the connection unit 2 and the reducing gas supply unit 3, and with the educing agent 4R that is contained in each of the reactors 4a to 4d, in which the reaction unit 4 being capable of switching between the oxidizing gas and the reducing gas to be supplied to each of the reactors 4a to 4d. The plurality of reactors 4a to 4d include first reactors and second reactors to which the reducing gas is supplied when the oxidizing gas is supplied to the first reactors, and the number of the first reactors is two or more and/or the number of the second reactors is two or more.

摘要: Gaseous carbon compounds can be converted to carbon neutral or negative products using biological processes to metabolise the gaseous carbon compounds or use thermochemical processes to convert gaseous carbon compounds to syngas followed by thermochemical or biological processes to produce products. The gaseous carbon compounds include a mixture of CO2 and CH4 from either a single source, or two or more different sources. Separate biological processes are incorporated to process different gaseous carbon compounds. A gaseous carbon compound produced as a by-product of one biological process can be used as at least part of the feedstock for another process. A renewable energy system can be provided to power equipment. A control system can be used to control flow of gaseous carbon compounds and reactants entering the entire carbon processing systems to provide mass balanced quantities of gaseous carbon compounds and reactants in each processing system and/or between processing systems.

摘要: The disclosure provides a platinum-containing three-way conversion (TWC) catalyst, and a system for treating an exhaust gas stream from a gasoline engine using the TWC catalyst. The system is configured to introduce controlled quantities of hydrogen gas into the exhaust gas stream upstream of the platinum-containing TWC catalyst article during a cold-start period. Further provided are related methods of treating such exhaust streams. Such systems and methods are useful in reducing a level of one or more of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxide in a gaseous exhaust stream from a gasoline engine.

摘要: A system and method of abating air pollution and stimulating crop growth. A reagent is introduced to a crop canopy to neutralize air pollutants within said canopy, wherein the reagent induces an oxidation-reduction chemical reaction with the air pollution present throughout the acreage of crops, and by means of the reaction effectually neutralizes the harmful effects of the air pollutants on the crops. The reagent is diluted using a venturi valve or other means. The flow rate of said reagent is regulated using an electronic control unit, based on data collected from at least one type of sensor in the canopy that is in communication with the control unit.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate techniques for abating N2O gas present in the effluent of semiconductor manufacturing processes. In one embodiment, a method includes injecting hydrogen gas or ammonia gas into a plasma source, and an effluent containing N2O gas and the hydrogen or ammonia gas are energized and reacted to form an abated material. By using the hydrogen gas or the ammonia gas, the destruction and removal efficiency (DRE) of the N2O gas is at least 50 percent while the concentration of nitric oxide (NO) and/or nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in the abated material is substantially reduced, such as at most 5000 parts per million (ppm) by volume.

摘要: A plasma abatement process for abating effluent containing compounds from a processing chamber is described. A plasma abatement process takes gaseous foreline effluent from a processing chamber, such as a deposition chamber, and reacts the effluent within a plasma chamber placed in the foreline path. The plasma dissociates the compounds within the effluent, converting the effluent into more benign compounds. Abating reagents may assist in the abating of the compounds. The abatement process may be a volatizing or a condensing abatement process. Representative volatilizing abating reagents include, for example, CH4, H2O, H2, NF3, SF6, F2, HCl, HF, Cl2, and HBr. Representative condensing abating reagents include, for example, H2, H2O, O2, N2, O3, CO, CO2, NH3, N2O, CH4, and combinations thereof.

摘要: An after-treatment system including an exhaust treatment component provided in an exhaust passage, a tank carrying an aqueous reagent, and an electrochemical cell in communication with the tank and configured to receive the aqueous reagent therefrom. The electrochemical cell is configured to convert the aqueous reagent into a first exhaust treatment fluid and a second exhaust treatment fluid. A controller is in communication with the electrochemical cell. The controller is configured to vary amounts and/or composition of each of the first exhaust treatment fluid and the second exhaust treatment fluid produced by the electrochemical cell. An injector is in communication with the electrochemical cell and the exhaust passage, and is configured to receive one of the first exhaust treatment fluid or the second exhaust treatment fluid from the electrochemical cell, and dose the one exhaust treatment fluid into the exhaust passage at a location upstream from the exhaust treatment component.
