Abstract:
The present invention is an electronically controlled wide band vibrating tampon (ECWVT) apparatus to provide relief from feminine menstrual cramps and comprises a controllable vibration generator with selectable wide band vibration sources, an electromechanical transducer aka a vibration transmitter, and a disposable vibration transmitting tampon head (VTTH) to be inserted into the user's vaginal canal for customized and maximized relief from a user's menstrual cramps. Since only the VTTH is disposable and all other parts are reusable, the disposable cost is minimized.
Abstract:

Abstract:
There is provided a dissolving strip adapted to be placed on a person's tongue to aid in giving oral sexual pleasure to both men and women. The strip comprises: a dissolvable, orally consumable, composition; and the strip is flexible and adapted to adhere to a surface in the mouth, usually the tongue. The strip dissolves in about 5 to 20 minutes and preferably in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Abstract:
A condom may include pouch having a wall and a frame. The pouch may have an open end and a closed end and the frame may be positioned proximate the open end. An anchoring device may be secured to the pouch proximate the closed end. Further, a harness or accessory attachment may be provided to assist in securing the condom to a user. At least one condom accessory, for stimulating at least one of the five senses, may also be positioned on or in at least one of the pouch, frame, anchor or harness using a variety of attachment methods.
Abstract:
A Device and Method for providing Therapeutic Massage and Dilation is disclosed. The Device is a uniquely designed instrument that is cupped from side to side and is narrower at one end than at the other. The narrow end has a flattened tip that is rounded around its perimeter. The wide end incorporates a semi-spherical handle. The bottom of the Device is convex and has small ridge that is rounded running along most of its length. The primary function of the present invention is for use in the vagina to loosen and stretch the perineum thereby reducing trauma at birth. Depending on the size of manufacture, body cavities other than the vagina can benefit from internal massage for the relief of deformity, stricture, or other discomforting conditions. The instrument is used by inserting it into the vagina with its bottom side to the vaginal floor. Then the device is moved from side to side in a rocking motion to massage the surrounding tissues. The flattened tip can be used to pull the perineal tissues forward as they begin to loosen, the flattened tip can be used to massage tissues that are tight as well. The cupped or concave surface on the top side of the instrument helps prevent contact with cervix and urethra thereby avoiding irritation to these parts of the female anatomy, it also provides a recessed surface for the attachment of an optional reservoir for the application of ointments or medications. The handle is dual purpose and can be used to massage the tissues at the opening of the vagina. A provision for the attachment of a vibration generating device is also included thereby offering additional therapeutic value to certain users.
Abstract:
A universal mechanical dilator combined with massaging action comprises a probe (12) consisting of a two rods (22 and 24), a drive unit (14) and an adapter (16) that connects the probe (12) to the drive unit. The instrument is intended for dilation of the urethra or other ducts of a human body and can operate in three different modes: pure dilation, pure vibration, and dilations combined with vibrations. This is achieved by using the adapter (16) as an adjustable coupling. The probe (12) together with the adapter (16) can be disconnected from the drive unit (14) and used separately as a mechanical manual dilator. At its distal end, the probe (12) has means for connecting replaceable tips (28a, 32a) used for various applications, i.e., urethral, anal, vaginal, etc. The invention also relates to a method of treatment of voiding or an orectal diseases by combining dilations with vibrations. The instrument can also be used for training sphincteric muscles.
Abstract:
A vibrating tampon apparatus 10 for easing a woman's menstrual cramps wherein the apparatus 10 includes an inner vibrator unit 12 and an outer tampon unit 11 surrounding the vibrator unit 12 which includes a vibrator motor 36 which is actuated by a tampon string 25 for imparting vibratory motion to the apparatus 10.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for neuromodulation of a female patient suffering from a pelvic condition, such as incontinence, are disclosed. A mechanical stimulus such as pressure, tension, traction, friction, or vibration for example can be applied to one, two, or more clitoral structures sufficient to cause a physiologic stimulus or inhibition, such as neuromodulation to treat or prevent the pelvic condition.
Abstract:
An electrotherapy system includes a control device, a pulse generator and an electrode pad unit. The control device receives a user input associated with one of twelve meridians of a human, and outputs a control signal associated with the one of the twelve meridians. The pulse generator generates an electrical stimulation signal according to a reference frequency of a reference signal and the one of the twelve meridians with which the control signal is associated. The electrode pad unit contacts a user at a location corresponding to the one of the twelve meridians, and is coupled to the pulse generator for introducing the electrical stimulation signal from the pulse generator to the user.
Abstract:
An instrument, article and method are provided for minimizing pain during administration by injection of a liquid, such as, an anesthetic. The instrument has a forward end. A lightpipe mounted freely for vibration projects out of the forward end. The article, a single use tip, is composed of a tip sleeve removably mounted on the forward end of the instrument and a tip member removably mounted on the projecting lightpipe to vibrate a preselected injection site on a human or animal. The tip sleeve and tip member are covered by an elastic overmold that enables the tip member to vibrate freely with respect to the tip sleeve and light from the lightpipe to illuminate the injection site. A vibration unit mounted in the instrument is coupled to the lightpipe. The method is carried out by imparting vibrations and illumination via the lightpipe to the tip member.
