The distal and proximal ends of the stent include a plurality of loops, some of which include marker members used for visualizing the position of the stent. 摘要: A stent includes a tubular body formed of one or more interwoven wires, the tubular body having first and second opposing open ends and a lumen extending therebetween. The stent further includes a first anchor member disposed adjacent the first open end and a second anchor member disposed adjacent the second open end, the first and second anchor members each extending radially outward from the tubular body, the first and second anchor members each having an outer diameter larger than an outer diameter of the tubular body disposed between the first and second anchor members. A plurality of spacer members are disposed around the first open end and extending longitudinally beyond the first open end, wherein when a pulling force is applied to the spacer members, the outer diameter of the tubular body is not reduced.

摘要: An adjustable vascular graft with a user-customizable reduced inner diameter is provided. The graft includes a flexible tubular body having open ends and a plurality of receivers in a sidewall thereof, which may be arranged in two circumferentially spaced rows of receivers. The receivers may take the form of ringlets, eyelets, loops, or holes, which may be provided in a reinforced region of the graft sidewall, and which may be radiopaque. A suture passes through the plurality of receivers, the suture having first and second free ends capable of being pulled, and which suture may also be radiopaque. Tensioning or tightening the first and second ends of the suture reduces an inner diameter of the corresponding portion of the tubular body of the graft, thereby allowing for the custom reduced inner diameter and a resulting flow restriction to be provided. Related methods are also disclosed.

摘要: An implant that can be used for the treatment of the urinary tract in a manner which is more efficient and gentler on the body. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that an implant for expanding a urethra of a person by applying a local ischemic pressure to the tissue of the urethra has a pressure means structure. This pressure means structure has at least two pressure means, wherein the implant can be introduced into the urethra with a distal end in front. In this case, each of the pressure means has a spreading element and two bracing elements, namely a proximal and a distal bracing element, and wherein the bracing elements are each articulated movably at a first end to the spreading element and movably at a second end to a central bracing means.

摘要: Embodiments of a radially collapsible and expandable prosthetic heart valve are disclosed. A prosthetic heart valve includes a valve structure and a frame. The valve structure includes a plurality of leaflets, and the leaflets are configured to move from an open configuration to a closed configuration. The valve structure is coupled to the frame. The frame includes an inflow end, an outflow end, a longitudinal axis extending from the inflow end to the outflow end, and a plurality of struts forming a plurality of rows of cells. Each row of cells extends in a circumferential direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Adjacent cells in a row of cell are coupled together at a junction of the struts defining the adjacent cells, and at least one junction in one row of cells has a shape that is different than at least one other junction of the one row of cells.

摘要: A stent suitable for deployment in a blood vessel to support at least part of an internal wall of the blood vessel comprises a plurality of longitudinally spaced-apart annular elements, and a plurality of connecting elements to connect adjacent annular elements. Each connecting element is circumferentially offset from the previous connecting element. Upon application of a load to the stent, the stent moves from an unloaded configuration to a loaded configuration. In the unloaded configuration the longitudinal axis of the stent is straight, and the stent is cylindrically shaped. In the loaded configuration the longitudinal axis of the stent is curved in three-dimensional space, and the stent is helically shaped.
