Abstract: A pneumatic tire has paired bead portions, paired sidewall portions, a tread portion, a plurality of lug grooves extending from a shoulder area of the tread portion to reach a buttress area of the sidewall portion, and a block defined by the plurality of lug grooves. The block includes a shoulder block provided in the shoulder area, and a buttress block provided in the buttress area. The buttress area is provided with an annular rib annularly extending along a tire circumferential direction. The lug grooves are comparted into an outside lug groove positioned in an outer side of the annular rib, and an inside lug groove positioned in an inner side of the annular rib. A widened portion is provided in at least part of the plurality of lug grooves so as to enlarge a width of the annular rib.

A widened portion is provided in at least part of the plurality of lug grooves so as to enlarge a width of the annular rib.

Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire. A sipe includes, on each of a leading side edge and a trailing side edge, a chamfered portion and a non-chamfered region including no other chamfered portion. The maximum depth of the chamfered portion is shallower than the maximum depth of the sipe, and the sipe width is substantially constant. In a cross-sectional view, at least one chamfered portion includes a profile line that is convex inward in a tire radial direction with respect to a chamfer reference line connecting both ends of the chamfered portion; and a cross-sectional area of a chamfered region that is surrounded by the profile line, the sipe, and a tread contact surface of a tread portion is equal to or greater than a cross-sectional area of a reference region, the reference region being surrounded by the chamfer reference line, the sipe, and the tread contact surface.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread portion provided with at least one circumferentially extending zigzag main groove having a groove bottom, the at least one main groove including first inclined portions, second inclined portions each inclined in an opposite direction to the first direction, and first intersections where the first inclined portions and the second inclined portions are communicated with each other. The first inclined portions and the second inclined portions are arranged alternately in the tire circumferential direction. The first inclined portions are longer than the second inclined portions. The groove bottom of the at least one main groove is provided with at least one protruding part extending in a width direction of the at least one main groove, and a distance between the at least one protruding part and one adjacent first intersection is equal to or less than 2 times groove widths of the first intersections.

The inboard crown land portion is provided with inboard crown lateral grooves extending from the inboard shoulder main groove and terminating within the inboard crown land portion. The outboard crown land portion is provided with outboard crown lateral grooves extending from the crown main groove and terminating within the outboard crown land portion.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire having sufficiently improved wet performance is provided. A pneumatic tire comprises a tread rubber that includes: a tread surface rubber layer located at an outermost surface of a tread; and a tread inside rubber layer located on a tire radial inner side of the tread surface rubber layer. A 100% modulus of the tread surface rubber layer is higher than a 100% modulus of the tread inside rubber layer, and the tread surface rubber layer is made of a rubber composition including: a rubber component (A) containing 50 mass % or more of diene-based rubber; and, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A), 5 to 50 parts by mass of at least one additive component (B) selected from: thermoplastic resin; oil; and an aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene compound copolymer whose polystyrene-equivalent weight-average molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography is 5,000 to 200,000.
