Abstract:
The cam follower roller device provides a tappet body, a pin and a roller mounted on the pin. The tappet body provides holes for mounting pin ends of the pin on the tappet body. The device further provides one deformable ring disposed between each pin end of the pin and an inner wall of the associated hole of the tappet body.

A cam follower roller device, in particular for a fuel injection pump of an internal combustion engine, includes a tappet with a sleeve having an opening for partially accommodating a roller, a roller mounted rotatably in the sleeve and having a portion which protrudes axially from the opening of the sleeve provided to cooperate with a cam, and a roller support body housed in the sleeve. The roller includes a cylindrical spindle and a cylindrical body, the ends of the spindle projecting from the lateral faces of the body. The support body includes supports open towards the opening of the sleeve and supporting the ends of the spindle.
Abstract:
A mechanical system that forms one of a cam follower or a rocker arm. The mechanical system comprises a support element including a first body portion and a second body portion, a pin extending between two opposite ends along a first axis and supported by the first body portion of the support element, and a roller mounted on pin, movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis and adapted to roll on a cam. The mechanical system further comprises a spacing element comprising a first body portion connected to the second body part of the support element and a second body portion adapted to be supported by a movable support.
Abstract:
A piston pump for a traction-controlled hydraulic vehicle braking system includes a pump piston and an annular piston that is arranged as a second piston in a resiliently loaded manner on the pump piston. As the delivery pressure increases, a resilient element is compressed and a stroke of the second piston is shortened so as to reduce a delivery quantity. This configuration enables a higher delivery pressure to be achieved for a given driving force. With low delivery pressure, the pump piston and the second piston deliver together so as to achieve a rapid build-up of pressure.
Abstract:
A mechanical system forms a cam follower or a rocker arm. The mechanical system comprises: a support element, a pin extending between two opposite ends along a first axis and supported by the support element, and a roller adapted to receive the pin. The roller being mounted on pin, movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis and adapted to roll on a cam. The support element comprises two separate parts, generally semi-cylindrical, each having a contact face, in contact with one other, and a holding feature for maintaining parts assembled together.
Abstract:
A transmission element according to the invention for an actuating system integrated into an internal combustion engine provides a cam follower including a roller articulated on a shaft mounted on a piston suitable for sliding in a bore formed in a body of the transmission element is provided. The shaft having a body extending around a longitudinal axis, and includes at least one sacrificial tip attached on one of the ends of the body of the shaft. The sacrificial tip is made from a material having a hardness below the hardness of the material of the body defining the bore.
Abstract:
A tappet (1) for a high-pressure fuel pump of an internal combustion engine is provided, having a tube-like housing (2), in the case of the drive-side annular face (3) of which two flat sections (5) are indented from an outer lateral surface (4) of the housing (2) lying diametrically opposite one another, in which flats a pin (7) is mounted which supports a roller (6), wherein, axially below the roller (6), an inner lateral surface (8) of the housing (2) is penetrated by a separate bridge piece (9), a driven-side end face (10) of which acts as a rest for a tappet follower part and which bears axially firstly in the direction of the drive-side annular face (3) against undersides (13) of the flat sections (5) and secondly in the direction of an output-side annular face (11) of the housing (2) by way of a securing ring (12) which is fixed on the inner shell (8), wherein the bridge piece (9) is held by the securing ring (12) such that it is clamped axially and radially without play in the housing (2).
Abstract:
A mechanical system, comprising a support element, a pin extending along a first axis and comprising two opposite ends, each adapted to be fitted in the support element for radial retention of the pin relative to the first axis, and a roller element movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis. The mechanical system includes two ribs resting on either side of the ends for axial retention of the pin along the first axis. The mechanical system can be integrated into either an injection pump or a valve actuator.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a cam follower roller device, in particular for a fuel injection pump of an internal combustion engine, including a tappet with a sleeve having an opening for partially accommodating a roller, a roller mounted rotatably in the sleeve and having a portion which protrudes axially from the opening of the sleeve provided to cooperate with a cam, and a roller support body housed in the sleeve. The roller includes a cylindrical spindle and a cylindrical body, the ends of the spindle projecting from the lateral faces of the body.It is proposed that the support body includes supports open towards the opening of the sleeve and supporting the ends of the spindle.
Abstract:
A tappet support member includes at least two slide surfaces and at least two press-fitting projections. The at least two slide surfaces, are planar and extend in an axial direction of a plunger. The at least two slide surfaces are substantially parallel to each other and are opposed to each other, and a shoe of a tappet is axially reciprocatably supported by the at least two slide surfaces. Each of the at least two press-fitting projections projects from a corresponding side of the tappet support member that is opposite from a corresponding one of the at least two slide surfaces, and each of the at least two press-fitting projections is press-fitted into a pump housing, which is stationary relative to the tappet.
