摘要: An incinerator and a process for the incineration of animal carcasses. The inner combustion chamber of the incinerator is lined with a high temperature fibrous insulation material and a stainless steel liner thereby permitting the temperature of the liner to become very hot during incineration. The animal carcass is deposited directly onto the stainless steel liner. Heat is then applied to the chamber, and the liner becomes red hot and radiates heat onto the carcass from all sides of the chamber. The burners are controlled by temperature responsive control devices to maintain the combustion chamber within a desired temperature range. In another embodiment, a stainless steel wall is disposed within the interior of the incinerator housing to form a combustion chamber and an afterburner chamber alongside the combustion chamber. The afterburner chamber includes a separate burner located near the bottom of the incinerator for heating the air as it enters the afterburner chamber. The stainless steel wall radiates heat between the combustion and afterburner chambers.

摘要: The apparatus is provided with a processing drum having a rotatable comminuting blade driven by a shaft extending into the drum. An ashpan is rotatably positioned so as to move into and out of engagement with the drum for charging the drum with cremation remains for further comminution. During processing, the ashpan is rotated out of position. A pouring lid is fitted over the drum after processing, to permit the comminuted remains to be removed from the drum.

摘要: A brush for removing cremated remains from a crematory oven is entirely formed of metal to resist the high temperatures of the oven and has two linear brush assemblies fixed to a top frame. A steel handle extends rearwardly from the frame for grasping by a brush operator. One of the linear brush assemblies has smaller diameter crimped stainless steel bristles and is positioned at the front of the brush, the other of the linear brush assemblies has larger diameter crimped stainless steel bristles and is fixed to the top frame rearward of the front brush assembly. Side brush assemblies extend sidewardly and upwardly of the other two. In operation the brush is inserted at the front of the oven and drawn rearwardly after the cremation such that the rear bristles encounter and withdraw the larger elements of the remains, and the front bristles encounter and withdraw the smaller elements.

摘要: A waste elimination apparatus includes a natural gas ignition system, a silica material bed, a heat transfer device, and a system for collecting plasma produced energy. A reaction formed by heat from ignition, carbon from the waste material, supercritical water, —OH radicals, and muons released from the silica bed transform the waste into a fuel. This fuel is more efficiently consumed by the complete combustion process resulting in near total elimination of the waste, increased energy production, and virtually no emissions.

摘要: A direct-heating type carcass processing apparatus using vacuum. At least one piece of dead livestock infected with various diseases such as infectious diseases is heated for complete sterilization using high-pressure steam, and undergoes complete moisture removal to become dry by means of the vacuum, thereby allowing the dead livestock to be easily crushed. To this end, a carcass processing drum is directly heated by a heating means instead of a conventional steaming process, which provides steam from a boiler to the dead stock, to reduce a processing time and cost due to removal of the boiler. The vacuum can be converted into atmospheric pressure using a pressure valve so that the processed dead livestock can be discharged from the apparatus.

摘要: A temporary casket made substantially from burnable material, having a positionable inclining mechanism inside a casket shell. The temporary casket may be inserted into a formal, traditional casket where the temporary casket shell protects the traditional casket. Inside the temporary casket, a plank is attached by a clamp or bracket to an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the tilt angle between the plank and the floor of the casket shell. The mechanism also includes a vertical threaded rod that engages the clamp, allowing the rod to be rotatable and move the clamp axially along the rod to lift or lower the plank. This allows a funeral director to easily adjust the deceased to achieve the most “restful” state, and without jostling or appearing disrespectful to the deceased. After a service, the deceased, along with the temporary casket and the mechanism itself, may be cremated.

摘要: An animal carcass lift device is especially adapted for use with animal carcass incinerators or cremators found at various agricultural locations. The lift device takes advantage of two rotation points in order to precisely manipulate an attached animal carcass so that it may be conveniently loaded within the incinerator. The lift device includes a power assist mechanism such as a winch to raise or lower the animal carcass.

摘要: The process generates energy from organic material utilizing microwaves. The waste from food item is dried and further heated under temperature control to convert it into a renewable source of energy. Enclosed in a glass chamber (2) it is then exposed to microwave energy. Apparatus comprises a microwave oven (1), a heat exchanger (3) and energy extraction systems (5) and (6). The microwave absorption creates an ionized hot air atmosphere of high-energy Plasma. This new process for hot plasma generates heat, pressure and electromotive energy, which can be converted by a heat exchanger; a microwave ignited internal-combustion engine or a Magneto-Hydrodynamic (MHD) system, to the useful form of mechanical or electrical energy. The process incorporates a method for plasma confinement to harness its energy. Suitable feedback-control (7) makes the process self-sustaining with net gain in the output energy. Energy efficiency of the process measures the nutritional value of food item used.
