摘要： An electronic calculator watch which comprises timekeeping means composed of an oscillator, a frequency divider connected to the oscillator, a counter circuit connected to the frequency divider, and a driver circuit connected to the counter circuit for providing an output signal indicative of time information, and calculating means composed of an oscillator circuit and a calculation circuit responsive to perform calculations under control of numerical inputs furnished by external operation device provided on a watch case. The watch also comprises a display including a first display section connected to the driver circuit of the timekeeping means to display the output signal delivered therefrom, and a second display section connected to the calculating means to display the result of calculations, each of the first and second display sections having a plurality of digit electrodes and a plurality of segment electrodes arranged in a matrix configuration.

摘要： An electronic timepiece comprises a digital display device and electronic circuitry including a printed circuit board containing thereon a pattern of printed conductors connected to drive the digital display device. A cover member is disposed atop the timepiece casing and on a side portion of the cover member are mounted a plurality of depressable key switches, the key switches being mounted at a location overlying and spaced from the pattern of printed conductors. An electro-conductive rubber sheetlike member coacts with the cover member for both sealing in a water proof manner the region between the cover member and the timepiece casing and effecting electrical connection between individual ones of the key switches and the pattern of printed conductors in response to depression or actuation of the key switches.

摘要： An electronic horological instrument which includes a piezoelectric crystal oscillator and a counter such as a series of count-down circuits connected in tandem. The "effective frequency of the oscillator" is adjusted by inhibiting the oscillator pulses to the count-down circuits by means of a pulse inhibit circuit. The pulse inhibit circuit is readily programable to inhibit a desired number of oscillator pulses by means of a switch arrangement that includes multi-position detented pin switches.

摘要： A dual function pusher and rotate switch assembly for actuating, for example, a display light and/or time correction which includes a crown portion on the outside of the watch case and a shaft portion extending through the wall of the case. The shaft portion includes an intermediate section on the inside of the case which cooperates with a spring to provide a two position rotary detent action.In addition to permitting detent holding of the stem in the proper contact position, the spring arrangement also enables biased axial movement of the stem. The internal end of the shaft includes an eccentric tab which contacts a precisely positioned first switch blade when the stem being in a first detent position is pushed-in or contacts a second switch blade if the crown is rotated to a second detent position. If the crown is pushed-in while in the second detent position, both switch blades are engaged causing actuation of two functions such as causing simultaneous illumination and updating of the display.

摘要： An electronic digital display wristwatch wherein correction of the time displayed is facilitated by an improved manually operated correction assembly. The electronic wristwatch includes a divider circuit comprising a plurality of divider stages adapted to produce timekeeping signals in response to a high frequency time standard signal applied to said divider circuit. A plurality of display elements are adapted to receive the timekeeping signals and display time in response thereto. A correction circuit assembly is coupled to each of the respective divider stages producing timekeeping signals. The correction circuit assembly includes a manually operated member displaceable in a first and second direction, the displacement of the member in a first direction effecting selection of a divider stage to be corrected, and displacement of said member in the other direction effecting correction of the divider stage selected by the first mentioned displacement.

摘要： A control mechanism for setting a watch or the like includes a rotatable gger piece, a stem actuatable from the exterior of the timepiece, linkage between the stem and the trigger piece, and a setting lever which cooperates with the trigger piece for moving setting linkage into a proper position upon actuation of the stem. The resilient setting lever is biased from its pivot through its resilient length to urge its opposite end against the trigger piece and thereby hold the trigger piece in set positions. The resilient setting lever is part of a V-shaped resilient element which straddles the trigger piece.

摘要： A switch mechanism for an electronic timepiece which makes use of an electro-optical display element. The switch mechanism serves to effect erasure, correction and the like of the display and comprises an exteriorly operated member provided in its axial direction with a plurality of stable positions and rotatable about its axis at the stable positions and provided in its rotating sense with stable positions. An erasing switch is provided for erasing the display at the stable positions when the exteriorly operated member is rotated at one of the stable positions in its axial direction. A correction switch corrects the display at the stable position when said exteriorly operated member is rotated at at least one other stable position in its axial direction.
