摘要: Inspection items of inspection steps performed in processes 40 to 70, namely, in the processes of parts incoming, production, outgoing and market, and quality defect information items generated in connection with these inspections, are registered in advance in a code master database 17 as systematized codes. A part ID unique to a given part and a product ID unique to a given product are correlatively recorded in a part bar code label 81 and in a product bar code label 82 respectively. These bar code labels 81 and 82 are affixed to each part and product. In each of the processes 40 to 70, the part IDs or the product IDs are read, inspection results and quality defect information are input, and information is stored in databases 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16, whereby the quality history of each product is managed.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for monitoring the status of manufacturing products continuously according to one of a plurality of manufacturing processes. It is determined whether at least a predetermined manufacturing program out of a plurality of manufacturing programs corresponding to the plurality of manufacturing processes has been executed. The number of operations executed for manufacturing products according to the predetermined manufacturing program is stored, when it is determined that the predetermined manufacturing program has been executed. And, the stored number of operations executed for manufacturing the products according to the predetermined manufacturing program is output. Accordingly, when a license agreement is provided for a property covering the products or the process for manufacturing the products, it can be determined if the products or the process made or used by a licensee is covered by the licensed property, on the basis of operation of the predetermined manufacturing program. It may be so constituted that the predetermined manufacturing program is stored through a communication device, and that the status of manufacturing products is transmitted through the communication device.

摘要: A method for monitoring a remotely located industrial process from a central service location generally comprises transmitting, through existing two-way digital paging networks, a monitoring instruction to the remote location, executing an operational command contained in the monitoring instruction on the industrial process, logging the effect of the execution of the command in a history file and transmitting content from the history file back to the central service location. The monitoring instruction may comprise the identification of an operational event for execution by the remotely located industrial process or be adapted for the on demand execution of one or more scripts of operational events. The content of the history files is transmitted, also through the existing two-way digital paging networks, back to the central service location where the data contained therein may be utilized to simulate the remotely operated industrial process according to date and time stamp information transmitted therewith as a computer generated animation of the remotely operated process.

摘要: A method is described for the automated determination of fault events by evaluation of field data of a production installation within a system for determining the effectiveness (overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)) of the production installation and for the analysis of causes of faults. The determination of the fault events takes place using a data processing device and programs stored in it for carrying out the functions of a fault event detector and an OEE script configurer. The OEE script configurer accesses a prescribed productivity model specific to a production installation type, generates an OEE script with likewise prescribed configuration data taken into account and stores it in an OEE script memory. The fault event detector accesses the OEE script, calls up field data from a data server, derives fault events from the field data according to processing instructions of the OEE script, and stores them in a fault database.

摘要: An information system for production control wherein measured data from many test facilities is controlled, stored, and, if necessary, processed in a central data base. Via two-way data links, various data users can access the stored data and use this data for their own purposes. Thus it is possible, for example, to retrieve production figures of individual products or entire product ranges, complied statistics, calculate costs, determine yields, and the like. Access by the individual data users to the data base takes place via a terminal or a personal computer, with which nearly every work place is equipped and which are electronically interconnected via a data network for the exchange of data.
