    摘要: A safety switch is described in which a switching contact in a lock mechanism switches between an open and closed condition. Switching is coupled to a lock member moveable between a locked position, locking a drive cam, and an unlocked position, allowing the cam to rotate. A link member, cooperating with the lock member, switches between open and closed conditions of normally-open and normally-closed switching contacts, indicating movement of the lock member between the locked position and the unlocked position. By monitoring the open and closed conditions of the normally-open and normally-closed switching contacts, it is possible to determine the state of the lock member, i.e., whether it is in the locked position or in the unlocked position. It therefore can be determined whether the drive cam is in the locked or unlocked (i.e., free to rotate) state.

    摘要: The interlocked contactor includes an interlock mechanism which selectively prevents closure of contactor contacts before a preselected number of operations of the contactor. An armature actuator is connected to the armature to cause a slider bar portion of the interlock mechanism to translate between an interlock open and interlock closed position corresponding to the contact open and contact closed positions. The interlock mechanism is generally mounted to a detachable mounting base which is mounted to a contactor frame. The slider bar is positionally maintained before failure of the assembly by a pair of roller carrying studs, one of which is designed to shear before the predetermined number of contactor operations. An arresting base is pivotally mounted for movement about one of the studs providing adjustable alignment with the slider bar. An adjustment shaft determines the degree of clearance between an interlock tab on the arresting base and an arresting notch on the slider bar. The armature actuator rides within a translating notch of the slider bar. When both studs are in an unfailed condition, they cause the slider bar to only translate as a result of the movement of the armature actuator. On failure of one of the studs, the slider bar both rotates and translates causing the arresting notch to receive the interlock tab when the contactor attempts to close.

    摘要: A remotely controlled circuit control device has first and second load contact assemblies movable into circuit engagement and circuit disengagement positions relative to one another in which one load contact assembly is operatively connected to a solenoid so that alternate forward strokes of the solenoid moves the one load contact assembly between reset and tripped positions through a push-push mechanism having an indexing portion and a latching portion. An overload mechanism cooperates with the latch portion to cause the load contact assemblies to move to the circuit disengaged position upon occurrence of a fault condition. The second load contact assembly includes pivotably mounted contact members which are linked to the first load contact assembly in such a way that circuit engagement during solenoid energization is precluded. The push-push mechanism is operatively connected via a mode switch to either a reset circuit or a trip circuit and in turn to a remotely disposed indicator-control unit (ICU) through an optical coupler. Contact status and coordination between load contacts and ICU contacts are provided by a feedback circuit. An interface circuit allows operation of the circuit control device without discrimination on a power supply of either alternating or direct voltage or both. Life expectancy of the device is enhanced by several features including double break contacts with contact wiping and the provision of a floating output arm for the solenoid.
