Abstract:
A slide-type writing instrument having a drying-prevention device. The slide-type writing instrument includes a pen housing (10); a button clip part (20); an ink holder (30) having a cam protrusion (70); a sealing member (40) including a cover (41) and a fixing cap (45); a spring member (50); and a guide member (60) configured to guide the cover (41). The sealing member (40) includes an inner soft tube (40a) formed of a soft material and in the shape of a hollow tube, and an outer hard tube (40b) formed of a hard material and in the shape of a hollow tube and externally surrounding the soft tube (40a). The soft tube (40a) and the hard tube (40b) are coupled to each other to form a dual cross-section structure, and a lower end of the soft tube (40a) further extends than a lower end of the hard tube (40b).
Abstract:
To protect a writing core, a writing utensil includes: a shaft tube; a holder which is inserted through a front opening of a shaft tube and protrudes forward from a front end of the shaft tube; a writing core which is inserted through the holder while coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the holder and is supported by the shaft tube so as to protrude forward from a front end of the holder; and a movement direction conversion mechanism which is provided between the shaft tube and the holder and moves the holder forward relative to the shaft tube and the writing core by a force applied to the holder in the shaft tube outward radial direction.
Abstract:
A slide type writing tool includes: a pen housing (10); an ink holder (30); a sealing member (40) having a cover (41); a spring (50) elastically supporting the sealing member (40) and the ink holder (30); and a guide member (60) positioned between the sealing member (40) and the pen housing (10) and having an operation hole (65) for the coming in and out of the pen tip (31) in response to the forward or backward movement of the ink holder (30), wherein the opening and closing operations of the cover (41) of the sealing member (40) are guided when the sealing member (40) moves, the ink holder (30) has cam protrusions (70) for enabling the guide member (60) to move and moving along the operation slits (62), and the sealing member (40) has a sealing portion (42) coming into contact with the ink holder (30) and protrusions (44).
Abstract:
A current collector for polymer electrolyte thin film electrochemical cells and an electrochemical generator is disclosed. The current collector comprises a polymer substrate support film having a thickness of between 1 and 15 microns; a conductive metallic layer having a thickness of less than 3 microns, coated by metal vapor deposition onto at least one surface of the polymer substrate film; and a protective metal or metal oxide layer deposited onto the conductive metallic layer, having a thickness of between 5 and 500 nanometer and being electronically conductive.
Abstract:
In a writing and/or drawing utensil, an inner writing and/or drawing element or an inner pen with a writing or drawing tip is accommodated in an external casing and can move axially so that the writing and or drawing tip is movable from a retracted non-use position into a use position. By means of a closure the writing and/or drawing tip is closed in non-use position.
Abstract:
A marking instrument, e.g. a felt tip marker, has a retractable marking tip (4) carried by a marker unit (5) housed within the barrel, and a rolling diaphragm (10) connecting between the marker unit and barrel to form a sealed envelope around the tip (4) when the tip is retracted. Upon retraction of the tip the marker unit rotates to twist the diaphragm and close the envelope.
Abstract:
The writing implement comprises a sleeve-shaped housing (1) in which an inner sleeve (7) is disposed includes a writing element (2). At the tip-side end of the inner sleeve (7) is disposed a hermetic closure portion (8) which comprises a plurality of segments (34) which are biassed radially outwardly and which in the closure position (FIG. 7 ), bear on each other forming a seal beyond the nib (26) and which are provided with sealing bead segments (23) which also bear on each other forming a seal behind the tip of the writing element (26) and which bear on the tip segment (4) of the writing element (2), so that the nib portion (26) of the writing element is closed in an overall hermetically sealing chamber (6). The writing implement uses a mechanism which facilitates, while pressing the actuating element (11), the premature opening of the closure element (8) before the exit of the writing element (2) therefore avoiding contact with the nib (26 ). The co-ordination between closure portion (8) and writing element (2) can be reached by several means.
