摘要: A process for producing duplicates in series of an object having a decorative three-dimensional surface having a plurality of crests, or protrusions, each of which has a predetermined thickness, or height. The process including the steps of introducing the object in a container body having a side containing edge that protrudes, in use, beyond the object. A step is provided of distributing on the object a first hardening material suitable to cover the decorative three-dimensional surface of the object, and a step of hardening the hardening material obtaining a mould provided at the face oriented towards the object of a three-dimensional surface reproducing in negative the three-dimensional surface of the object.

摘要: This invention is a personal bead attachment device. It consists of a base with a hot plate, a piston arm, a piston holder, spring and piston forming a pressure handle. There is a power source and a laser light from the piston. The user of the bead attachment device will plug it in and turn machine and laser light on from the back of the machine, in about 30 second the plate should be hot and ready to use. The user will place the fabric on top of the hot plate and place a bead on the top of fabric, the laser dot will tell the user the exact position of where the bead will be adhered.

摘要: A release layer 22 is formed on a surface of a first supporting sheet 20. Next, an electrode layer 12a is formed on a surface of the release layer 22. When the electrode layer 12a is pressed against a surface of a green sheet 10a to bond the electrode layer 12a with the green sheet 10a, an adhesive layer 28 is formed by a transfer method on a surface of the electrode layer 12a or a surface of the green sheet 10a. It becomes possible to easily transfer a dry type electrode layer to the surface of the green sheet with high accuracy without breaking or deforming the green sheet, moreover, components of the adhesive layer do not soak in the electrode layer or green sheet. Also, the supporting sheet is extremely easily released, and a production cost of a multilayer ceramic capacitor is reduced.

摘要: A bas-relief is formed on a wooden panel, such as a furniture panel, by using a MYLAR.RTM. stencil having the outline of a design forming the bas-relief and a rubber stamp having a negative of the relief incorporating depth and textural features of the design. The MYLAR.RTM. stencil is laid over the panel and spackle is applied over the stencil to form a spackle layer having the outline of the design. The spackle layer is then embossed with the rubber stamp to provide details of depth in the spackle layer and thus form the bas-relief. The bas-relief is then allowed to dry, is painted or glazed and is covered with a layer of varnish.

摘要: The invention relates to the field of providing coatings for articles, said coatings provided to enhance the visual appearance of the articles such as doors, for furniture, sporting goods and in general any articles where the appearance can be enhanced by providing a coating thereon. Typically the coatings can be provided to give the appearance that the article has been manufactured from a more expensive material, to provide advertising material thereon or generally to provide a more pleasing appearance to the eye. The invention provides a coating formed of a plastic sheet material to which has been applied at least one ink pattern which is viewable and said ink pattern is applied and the sheet material is of sufficient flexibility to enhance the appearance of the article and also to mimic the effect of contour changes of the articles. There is also provided a method of manufacturing the coating of the invention and of applying the coating to the article and provides a coating which is both novel over known coating types and provides increased flexibility and scope of visual and/or tactile effects which can be created.

摘要: Ever more stringent environmental restrictions make it ever more challenging to apply coatings by conventional processes like spray painting because of the volatile solvents and hazardous pigments. The present invention is an alternative for applying a coating precisely on a surface. In the method of the invention, we apply appliques of constant Gaussian curvature to the corresponding areas of comparable curvature. We make the appliques on a family of molds of different Gaussian curvature and thereby avoid making a "splash" mold of the surface of interest to create the appliques or encountering the ridges, creases, or gaps that otherwise occur with attempts to cover the surface with flat (planar) appliques.

摘要: Improved techniques are provided for obtaining a desirable surface finish of two or more visually distinct selected colors. A mat is prepared by selectively weaving wire between fixed pins on a board. Once removed from the pins, the mat may be molded about the surface of an object painted a first selected color. A second color is then applied over the mat and the object, resulting in a desired dual-color finish after the mat is removed. The techniques of the present invention are particularly well suited for obtaining a high quality marble-like finish on objects of various sizes, shapes, and materials.
