摘要: An exchanger for a tank is described herein. The exchanger may be relied upon in a trailer tank, for example, or any other type of tank that stores fluid. The exchanger includes an inlet, a central fluid conduit, one or more exchanger extension arms having fluid apertures that direct fluid into a tank at various locations, and one or more supports that support the central fluid conduit and the exchanger extension arms. The fluid apertures may be positioned relatively evenly across the exchanger extension arms and/or the central conduit to direct fluid up or at various directions into the tank. Thus, fluid pumped into the inlet of the exchanger may flow through the central conduit, into the exchanger extension arms, and out through the fluid apertures at various locations into the tank. As such, heated fluid, for example, may be more evenly and quickly distributed into the tank.

摘要: Systems and methods for estimating a base load in a combined cycle power plant with a steam turbine clutch are provided. According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a system may include a controller and a processor communicatively coupled to the controller. The processor may be configured to receive operating parameters associated with a combined cycle power plant. The combined cycle power plant may comprise a gas turbine permanently coupled to a generator and a steam turbine selectively coupled to the generator via a clutch. The processor may be further configured to receive an engagement status associated with the clutch and receive first data and second data. Based on the engagement status, the processor may select the first data or the second data and use that to estimate a base load. The base load estimation may be calibrated based on the operating parameters.

摘要: A method, and apparatus for implementing the method, for simultaneously generating electrical power and producing refrigeration, utlizing an absorption/regeneration power cycle, and performing useful work with the heat rejected from the cycle. In the cycle, a working fluid is absorbed by a carrier fluid by an exothermic chemical reaction wherein the heat released is utilized to perform useful work. After absorption, the original fluids are regenerated by an endothermic chemical reaction with the required energy supplied by an external prime source. Surplus energy stored in the fluids after regeneration is extracted and utilized to generate electrical power, produce refrigeration, and provide internally required energy.

摘要: An in-situ incremental reheating system configured to increase steam temperature and thermodynamic efficiencies of a steam turbine is disclosed. The system includes a pump; a radiant heater; piping inter-connecting the pump, radiant heater and steam turbine to create a flow circuit; and a heat transfer material configured to flow through the flow circuit and transfer heat directly to steam used in the steam turbine. The pump moves the heat transfer material through the flow circuit and the radiant heater regenerates the heat transfer material after the heat transfer material transfers heat to the steam.
