摘要: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an antenna system including a first set of receive antenna elements and a second set of transmit antenna elements. Each receive antenna element is paired with one of the transmit elements. Paired receive and transmit antenna elements point in the same azimuthal direction, and the receive antenna element feeds its paired transmit antenna element. Each receive antenna element and each transmit antenna element has a phase center, and the phase centers of the receive and transmit antenna elements are all positioned substantially along the same axis. The receive and transmit elements are arranged in a phase-conjugate configuration such that, for each pair of receive and transmit antenna elements, those receive and transmit antenna elements are altitudinally spaced substantially the same distance from a plane through the antenna system.

摘要: A system for providing integrated detection and countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles include a detecting element, a location determining element and an interdiction element. The detecting element detects an unmanned aerial vehicle in flight in the region of, or approaching, a property, place, event or very important person. The location determining element determines the exact location of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The interdiction element can either direct the unmanned aerial vehicle away from the property, place, event or very important person in a non-destructive manner, or can cause disable the unmanned aerial vehicle in a destructive manner.

摘要: A system for providing integrated detection and deterrence against an unmanned vehicle including but not limited to aerial technology unmanned systems using a detection element, a tracking element, an identification element and an interdiction or deterrent element. Elements contain sensors that observe real time quantifiable data regarding the object of interest to create an assessment of risk or threat to a protected area of interest. This assessment may be based e.g., on data mining of internal and external data sources. The deterrent element selects from a variable menu of possible deterrent actions. Though designed for autonomous action, a Human in the Loop may override the automated system solutions.

摘要: A method of kinematic ranging for finding the range R of a jammer moving on a trajectory involves measuring the bearing of the jammer and the rate of change thereof using an airborne detector radar at a first position (24), causing the airborne detector radar to carry out a manoeuvre such that is it displaced in the horizontal plane by a displacement having orthogonal components Δx, Δy, and measuring the bearing of the jammer at a second position subsequent to the manoeuvre. By making an appropriate choice for the components Δx, Δy, the range R may be found with a desired relative range accuracy, and the error in R may be minimized.

摘要: A corner reflector includes: annular hollow balloons having flexibility and airtightness, and when gas is supplied therein, the annular hollow balloons expand with pressure of the gas to be an annular shape; and a radio wave reflection film having an outer edge part that is attached to the annular hollow balloons so that expansion of the annular hollow balloons makes the radio wave reflection film unfold over a plane of the annular shape. The three of the annular hollow balloons are provided so as to be mutually orthogonal after expansion. Binding members are attached to outer faces of the annular hollow balloons, the binding members being for preventing expansion of the annular hollow balloons beyond their limit volume.
