    摘要: A glass antenna assembly for receiving and transmitting cellular telephone signals includes a two pair of dipole antennas, each pair mounted on a vehicle window. Space diversity is achieved by placing the vehicle windows with the antenna pair on opposite sides of the vehicle. This results in an improved omni-directional antenna pattern. Each dipole antenna is tunes, and employs at least three elements to broad band the dipole antenna. Coaxial feeders leading from the antenna assembly can be concealed under the roof lining for improved aesthetics.

A vehicle glass antenna includes a VHF band antenna provided on a window glass of a vehicle. The VHF band antenna includes (i) an antenna pattern including a first element extending substantially straight; a bend portion bending away from the first element; and a second element that is substantially parallel to the first element, extending from the bend portion, (ii) a grounding point to which the second element is connected; and (iii) a feeding point for the VHF band antenna.

    摘要: An apparatus, system and method for providing audio broadcast signals received from a satellite to a satellite radio receiver. A window clip having an integral transmission line is mounted on the edge of a vehicle window. The interior end of the transmission line is connected to the satellite radio receiver. The exterior portion of the clip, and the exterior portion of the integrated transmission line, is coupled to an antenna. The antenna may be an omnidirectional quadrifilar antenna having circular polarization, a gain greater than about 3 dBi, a G/T greater than about −20 dB/K, and a frequency range of about 2.3 GHz to about 2.7 GHz, also known as the S-band. The antenna system can be used to receive satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) and transfer the signal to a satellite radio receiver inside the vehicle.
