摘要: A surgical instrument operable to sever tissue includes a body assembly and a selectively coupleable end effector assembly. The end effector assembly may include a transmission assembly and an end effector. The body assembly includes a trigger and a casing configured to couple with the transmission assembly. An information transmission system transmits instrument information received from a sensor, for example, to a secure server via a secure gateway connected to the instrument. The instrument may be previously tested on a calibration kit to pre-determine and load surgeon-specific settings onto the instrument prior to use.

摘要: A targeted temperature management (TTM) system is disclosed that includes a TTM module configured to provide a TTM fluid and a thermal pad configured to facilitate thermal energy transfer between the TTM fluid and a patient. The system further includes a fluid delivery line (FDL) coupled with the TTM module at a proximal end. A hub at the distal end of the FDL includes a delivery hub connector coupled with the delivery conduit connector, a return hub connector couples with the return conduit connector, and a locking mechanism is selectively configurable to alternate between a release configuration and a lock configuration. When the locking mechanism is in the lock configuration, it prevents at least one of separation of the delivery conduit connector from the delivery hub connector or separation of the return conduit connector from the return hub connector.

A mechanical stop is disposed at or near the end of stroke and is structured to increase resistance to movement of the drive member from a first position to a second position. A control system detects a current spike associated with the increased resistance and interrupts power to the drive motor.

摘要: A surgical device drive system comprising a gear coupled to a drive train is disclosed. The gear is configured to transmit a proximal retraction motion to a drive member. The surgical device drive system further comprises a control system coupled to the gear, and a manual input device comprising an input component and a ratchet mechanism. The input component is selectively coupled to the gear by the ratchet mechanism. The drive train is operable in a distal advancement direction and in a proximal retraction direction. In a first state, the control system is configured to drive the gear and the drive train in the distal advancement direction and the proximal retraction direction. In a second state, the manual input device is configured to drive the gear and the drive train in the proximal retraction direction, but not the distal advancement direction, using the ratchet mechanism.

摘要: An ambulatory electrocardiography monitor is provided. The monitor includes a housing adapted to couple to a monitoring patch that includes electrocardiographic electrodes; and electronic circuitry provided within the housing. The electronic circuitry includes an electrocardiographic front end circuit; the microcontroller configured to: execute a power up sequence upon the housing coupling to the patch; after the execution of the power-up sequence, retrieve from the monitoring patch an identifier associated with the patch and a password for accessing results of a physiological monitoring conducted using the patch; read samples of the electrocardiographic signals, buffer the samples of the electrocardiographic signals, compress the buffered samples of the electrocardiographic signals, buffer the compressed samples of the electrocardiographic signals, and write-the buffered samples into a memory in association with the password and the identifier; and the memory electrically interfaced with the microcontroller.
