Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission control system includes a controller that monitors inputs for shifting a transmission of a tractor to a different range gear; determines if an engine on the tractor is operating in a desired and acceptable shift range based on a sensed speed and a load of the engine, and determines if a hydrostatic transmission on the tractor is operating in a desired and acceptable shift range based on a sensed load and a speed of the hydrostatic transmission. If the controller determines the engine and the hydrostatic transmission are operating in the desired and acceptable shift range, the controller commands an oncoming clutch to ramp up and an off going clutch to ramp down, and synchronizes speeds of the engine and the hydrostatic transmission.

Abstract: A shift device that causes a transmission device to shift in response to a shift operation of a shift pedal includes a shift shaft configured to rotate in response to the shift operation of the shift pedal, a shift cam configured to rotate in a manner of being capable of changing a coupling state of a shift gear of the transmission device, a drive plate configured to move the shift cam in response to the rotation of the shift shaft, and a lost motion mechanism interposed between the shift shaft and the drive plate. The lost motion mechanism is attached to one end portion of the shift shaft and absorbs the rotation of the shift shaft to delay power transmission to the drive plate.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a drivetrain for a work machine, wherein a first electric motor drives a work drive of the work machine via a first transmission arrangement, wherein a second electric motor drives a traction drive of the work machine via a second transmission arrangement, and wherein, during a shift process of the second transmission arrangement from a relatively low gear ratio stage to a relatively high gear ratio stage, the rotational speed of the second electric motor is reduced. The method according to the disclosure is distinguished by the fact that, during the shift process, a driving connection is produced between the first electric motor and the second transmission arrangement by a first clutch, such that, during the shift process, the first electric motor drives the traction drive. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding drivetrain and to a work machine.

Abstract: A transmission is between a drive aggregate and a drive output of a vehicle drivetrain and includes a hydrodynamic starting element and a powershiftable main transmission having a plurality of forward gears and at least one reversing gear. The main transmission has frictional shifting elements, where in each gear a first number of shifting elements are closed and a second number of shifting elements are open. A downstream range group is connected downstream from the main transmission and has at least one interlocking shifting element that can be shifted between first a second driving ranges. With the drive aggregate running, the motor vehicle at a standstill or nearly so, and the main transmission in neutral, a shift request to change the downstream range group is received. The shifting elements of a reversing gear are at least partially closed, and the driving range of the downstream range group is then changed.

Abstract: A transmission system includes a transmission, first and second composite sensors, and a controller. The transmission has a clutch switchable between an engaged state and a disengaged state, a first shaft disposed on an input side of the clutch, and a second shaft disposed on an output side of the clutch. The first and second composite sensors detect rotation speeds and rotation phases of the first and second shafts, respectively. The controller acquires a load torque applied to the transmission. When the clutch is switched from the disengaged state to the engaged state, the controller derives a phase difference between the rotation phase of the first shaft detected by the first composite sensor and the rotation phase of the second shaft detected by the second composite sensor based on the time when the clutch has stopped slipping. The controller acquires the load torque based on the derived phase difference.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for operating an interlocking shifting element of a transmission of a vehicle, the interlocking shifting element having shifting element halves which can be moved relative to one another when opening and closing the interlocking shifting element. An electric actuator is arranged to about the relative movement between the shifting element halves when the interlocking shifting element is opened and/or closed. After recognizing a tooth-on-tooth position in the interlocking shifting element, a target torque to be applied at the transmission input is determined as a function of an electric current strength through the electric actuator of the interlocking shifting element, where the target torque is sufficient to resolve the tooth-on-tooth position in the interlocking shifting element.

Abstract: Disclosed is a torque-converting or speed-converting variable-speed transmission with at least two gear ratios. Each gear ratios is assigned at least one changeable gear pair. Shifting elements act on sliding sleeves (24) connected to the gear pairs to change these gear pairs. The shifting elements are in engagement with a shift drum (10), which is moveable into defined angular positions and rotatable between these angular positions. The shift drum (10) has an electric-motor direct drive (12), which can rotate it and bring it into the particular defined angular positions. A method used to control such a torque-converting or speed-converting variable-speed transmission is also contemplated.
