Abstract: Corrosion inhibitor compositions are provided that can include a mixture of one or more alkaline earth metals, one or more organic phosphates, one or more inorganic phosphates, optionally a dispersant, and hydroxyphosphono acetic acid and/or salts thereof and/or derivatives of hydroxyphosphono acetic acid and/or salts thereof. Methods of mitigating or inhibiting corrosion of metal surfaces are also disclosed. The methods can include the steps of adding a corrosion inhibitor composition as described in the present disclosure to a medium in contact with the metal surface and optionally to the metal surface before it is contacted by the medium.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of making a solid cleaning composition. The method can include pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid of a self-solidifying cleaning composition. For a self-solidifying cleaning composition, pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid determines the shape and density of the solid but is not required for forming a solid. The method can employ a concrete block machine for pressing and/or vibrating. The present invention also relates to a solid cleaning composition made by the method and to solid cleaning compositions including particles bound together by a binding agent.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a system and method of manual surface cleaning comprising: a) applying a first use solution of a first detergent composition to a cleaning textile; b) wet wiping a surface with cleaning textiles wetted with a first use solution of the first detergent composition; c) washing the cleaning textiles soiled in the previous step by washing in a second use solution of the first detergent composition; and d) wet wiping a surface with cleaning textiles obtained in the previous step. The present invention further refers to the use of the detergent composition for manual surface cleaning involving the use of cleaning textiles and for washing said cleaning textiles soiled by said manual surface cleaning.

In particular, a concentrated, preferably disinfecting, high performance foaming cleaning composition is disclosed which can reduce or eliminate the need for scrubbing on bathroom and other hard surfaces. Methods of use are further disclosed for bathroom and/or other hard surface cleaning. The foam has increased stability for a period of time, followed by dissipation with an audible “crackling” sound and easy rinsability.

Abstract: Detergent compositions that contain an enzyme, alkaline source, and phosphonate or amine phosphonate salt are described here. A use solution of the detergent compositions containing disclosed phosphonates can retain its enzyme activity for an extended period of time. Specifically, one specific type of phosphonates and another specific type of amine phosphonate salts were discovered to stabilize enzymes in detergent compositions. Solid detergent compositions that contain disclosed phosphonate or amine phosphonate salts are more effective to remove soils and can save production and use costs.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are antifouling compositions including a combination of one or more dispersant polymers and one or more inhibitors, the one or more dispersant polymers including the polymerized residues of one or more a-olefins and maleic anhydride, further wherein the maleic anhydride residues are reacted with a primary amine; and the one or more inhibitors including a functionalized p-phenylene diamine. Concentrates of the antifouling compositions in solvents are stable and pourable at temperatures of 0° C. to −40° C. The antifouling compositions are added to a petroleum product to form a treated petroleum product, wherein fouling by the treated petroleum product is reduced and a stable dispersion is formed over a wide range of processing conditions.

Abstract: A solution including an associative polymer, a cyclodextrin polymer, and a solvent is provided. The associative polymer is a powder in the absence of the solvent. Additionally, a method of making down an associative polymer powder to form a solution is provided.
