Abstract: A device is configured to establish a first roaming network connection to a first roaming network and a second roaming network connection to a second roaming network. The first roaming network has a higher priority than the second roaming network, the second roaming network configured to support a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, the first RAT having a higher priority than the second RAT. When a current network connection is the second roaming network connection, determining a current RAT used for the second roaming network connection. When the current RAT is the first RAT, determining between an active use state and a non-active use state. When the device is in the active use state, deactivating a capability to reselect to the first roaming network.

Further, the wireless device may be configured to perform uplink activity for both the first RAT and the second RAT by TDM uplink data for the first RAT and uplink data for the second RAT if uplink activity is scheduled according to both the first RAT and the second RAT.

Abstract: Activation or update of a subscriber identity module (SIM) via a roaming cellular wireless network by a mobile device includes the mobile device: determining a country of origin associated with a mobile network operator (MNO) for the SIM, determining a current geographic location of the mobile device, and when the current geographic location of the mobile device does not correspond to the country of origin for the MNO associated with the SIM of the eUICC, presenting an option to activate or update the SIM over a local roaming cellular wireless network. When the option is accepted, the mobile device enables a cellular data roaming capability for the mobile device, activates or updates the SIM via the local roaming cellular wireless network, and, after the SIM is activated or updated, disables the cellular data roaming capability for the mobile device.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for EPS fallback when initiating a voice call while camped on a 5G cell. The UE may camp on a 5G network by performing an IMS registration procedure/IMS SIP invite procedure with an IMS. The UE may initiate a voice call and determine that the voice call cannot be established over the 5G NR network. In response, the UE may perform a TAU procedure or an attachment procedure with a cell of a 4G network. The IMS may be transferred to the 4G network during TAU/attachment procedure. The UE may, in response to determining that it is barred from the 4G network, transition back to the 5G network and transmit, to the 5G NR network, a SIP cancel request to allow a context associated with the UE to be cleared from the IMS.

The wireless device detects a change in a coverage scenario associated with the first sidelink mode; performs resource sensing for the second sidelink mode; and based at least in part on detecting the change in the coverage scenario, transmits first communications using the second sidelink mode, wherein resources for transmitting the first communications are allocated based at least in part on the resource sensing.
