Abstract:
A method and a user equipment (UE) configured for dual priority for controlling a backoff timer are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes transmitting a first non access stratum (NAS) request message without an access point name (APN) including a low priority indicator set to a first value to a network node; receiving a reject message for the NAS request message from the network node; initiating a session management (SM) backoff timer in response to the reject message; and transmitting a second NAS request message including the low priority indicator set to a second value to the network node while the SM backoff timer is running. The first value of the low priority indicator indicates that the UE is configured for NAS signaling low priority. The second value of the low priority indicator indicates that the UE is not configured for NAS signaling low priority.
Abstract:
A method and a network entity for controlling a service in charge of a control plane in a network are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes receiving subscription information including an indicator related to a selected internet protocol (IP) traffic offload (SIPTO). The method further includes triggering a re-establishment of the SIPTO when a movement of a user equipment from an (e)Node B to a Home (e)Node B is detected; allowing the SIPTO excluding a SIPTO at the local network based on an access point name (APN) when the indicator indicates that the SIPTO is allowed and the SIPTO at the local network is excluded; and allowing the SIPTO including the SIPTO at the local network based on the APN when the indicator indicates that the SIPTO is allowed and the SIPTO at the local network is included.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data and an eNB are disclosed. The method of transmitting data, which is received from a user equipment and transmitted to a network entity by an eNB, can include the steps of receiving a data packet of the user equipment from a first layer different from an IP layer of the eNB in the IP layer, checking whether or not the data packet corresponds to a data packet transmitted by the first layer using a header of the data packet, if the data packet corresponds to the data packet transmitted by the first layer, adding an IP header selected using a pre-stored mapping table to the data packet, delivering the data packet to which the IP header is added to a second layer corresponding to a lower layer, and transmitting the data packet to which the IP header is added to the network entity.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for supporting a power saving mode in a wireless device. The method can comprise the steps of: transmitting a request message including a first active time value to a network entity, if a PSM is necessary; and receiving a rejection message for the request message from the network entity. Here, the rejection message includes the reason for rejection, and can include a second active time value determined by considering the first active time value. The method can comprise the steps of terminating the transmission procedure of the request message after receiving the reject message, and entering a PSM state on the basis of the second active time value.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for indicating skipping of access class barring (ACB) in a wireless communication system is provided. An upper layer of a user equipment (UE) receives ACB skip bits, which indicates whether ACB check is skipped for a specific application or service, from a lower layer of the UE, initiates the specific application of service, and transmits an ACB skip indication to the lower layer of the UE, if skipping of the ACK check is allowed for the specific application or service according to the ACB skip bits.
Abstract:
An example of the present disclosure provides a method of selecting access. The method of selecting access may include the steps of: selecting a first access point name (APN) that does not support IP flow mobility and seamless offload (IFOM) according to a first setting related to APN-based routing; checking a preferred flag when wireless local area network (WLAN) access for the IFOM is selected according to a second setting related to routing resulting in a collision between the first setting and the second setting; and using any one of the first setting and the second setting according to the preferred flag.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, access network selection scheme in visited network in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for selecting a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) access network by a user equipment (UE) in a visited network may comprise: determining, by the UE, if a selected WLAN access network in the visited network is available; updating, by the UE, a WLAN selection policy with a list of excluded WLAN access network, if the selected WLAN access network in the visited network is not available; and re-determining, by the UE, if there is an available WLAN access network in the visited network based on the updated WLAN selection policy.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More particularly, disclosed are a network-initiated control method and an apparatus for providing a proximity service (ProSe). A method for supporting ProSe between a plurality of terminals at a network node of a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of acquiring base ProSe information from one or more of the plurality of terminals or from one or more of other network nodes; a step of allowing the network node to detect whether ProSe is enabled between the plurality of terminals based on the acquired base ProSe information; and a step of transmitting information indicating whether ProSe is allowed or not to one or more of the plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method by which a user equipment (UE) reselects a network node in charge of a control plane. The method can comprise the steps of: retransmitting, by the UE, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message if the UE transmitted the NAS request message to a network node in charge of the control plane through a base station but has not received a response message; transmitting, by the UE, an access stratum (AS) message, which includes an indication showing no response from the network node, to the base station if the retransmission of the NAS request message has repeated by a preset value or more; and reselecting another network node in charge of the control plane instead of the network node in a disabled state if information indicating that the network node is in the disabled state is received from the base station.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling a relay of relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: announcing information on whether the relay UE can be relayed; and controlling the relay by comparing updated information with reference information according to a new relay request, wherein the reference information is set to be changed on the basis of state information of the relay UE and/or a packet data network (PDN) connection related to the relay.
