Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a second communication, of a bandwidth part (BWP) selection process, that indicates a subset of BWPs, of a set of BWPs, to be selected as a set of active BWPs, wherein the set of BWPs is configured to the UE for a component carrier via radio resource control signaling as a first communication of the BWP selection process, wherein the subset of BWPs includes one or more BWPs of the set of BWPs. In some aspects, the UE may select the subset of BWPs as the set of active BWPs based at least in part on receiving the second communication, wherein a particular BWP, of the subset of BWPs, is to be used for a post-BWP selection process communication. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support slot format determination for extended cyclic prefix (ECP) transmissions using normal cyclic prefix (NCP) slot formats. A slot format indicator (SFI) for NCP slots may identify transmission directions (e.g., uplink symbols, downlink symbols, or flexible symbols) for different symbols within a slot, and the SFI may provide an indication of a particular slot format that is to be used. Starting and ending times of each NCP symbol in a slot may be time domain mapped to starting and ending times of each ECP symbol in the slot. A transmission direction of each ECP symbol may be determined based at least in part on the transmission direction of at least a portion of at least one NCP symbol that fully or partially overlaps in the time domain with a corresponding ECP symbol.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to transition to communicating on a first bandwidth part from communicating on a second bandwidth part. In order to ensure that the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part, after transitioning to communicating on the first bandwidth part, the UE may be configured to perform receiver processing using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part. That is, for a configured period of time, before the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the first bandwidth part, the UE may perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may observe control channel monitoring occasions (PMOs) corresponding to different beams configured by a base station. The UE may identify a PMO in a system information window to monitor for downlink control information scheduling a shared channel carrying a system information message. The UE may receive an indication of which synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) blocks are actually transmitted by the base station and determine corresponding PMOs within the system information window. The UE may then monitor for the downlink control channel within the system information window during the corresponding PMOs. The base station and the UE may also implement techniques for system information message repetition within a system information window.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support time division duplexing (TDD) for dual connectivity (DC) to different radio access networks (RANs). A DC connection may be established between a user equipment (UE) and both a first RAN and a second RAN. A reference TDD configuration for the first RAN and a designated TDD configuration for both the first and second RAN may be identified. The designated TDD configuration may have a first set of uplink subframes and the reference TDD configuration may have a second set of uplink subframes that is a subset of the first set of uplink subframes. Downlink transmissions of the first RAN may be transmitted according to the reference TDD configuration, and uplink transmissions of the first and second RAN may be transmitted according to the designated TDD configuration.

A scheduler may further provide an indication whether the same, common reference resource is used, or a different reference resource.
