Abstract:
An aerosol generator device has an elongate body with an interior passageway extending longitudinally to its mouth end. The device receives an interchangeable, pressurised canister charged with a nicotine containing liquid that is discharged in a metered dose on manual actuation of a button member that causes a valve in the canister to open and discharge through a discharge tube. A sleeve releaseably couples the canister to the body. The button member is slidably mounted on the body for reciprocal movement along a trigger axis Y-Y′ extending transversely of the longitudinal axis X-X′ of the device, and has a manually depressible surface portion and a camming surface portion that drives a slidable nozzle member to press the discharge tube inwardly of the canister to open its valve and release liquid into the nozzle member. Nozzle forms an aerosol from the liquid, which is delivered to the consumer through outlets in the mouth end of the device.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for dispensing compressed fluid from a can through a valve stem of the can has a hollow tube with a channel extending through it from an entrance end to an opposing dispensing end, a connector defining a conduit therethrough that is in fluid communication with the channel of the hollow tube and that attaches to a valve stem of a can, a plug located within the channel of the hollow tube that forms a sealing configuration within the channel when pressed towards the dispensing end of the channel, and a sleeve that wraps at least partially around the hollow tube and that has a protrusion that upon activating the sleeve extends through the dispensing end of the hollow tube and prevents the plug from establishing a sealing configuration with the hollow tube.
Abstract:
A fluid dispenser device including a body, a reservoir, a dispenser head, and a dispenser member. The dispenser member includes a dispenser-member body and a movable member that moves axially in the dispenser-member body during actuation. The device includes a lateral actuator system secured to the body and having an actuator element that co-operates with the reservoir, with the dispenser member, or with an element secured to the reservoir and/or the dispenser member. The actuator element is movable between a rest position and an actuated position. The body includes a guide surface for guiding the actuator element, the guide surface is stationary relative to the dispenser head, and substantially parallel to the movement axis of the movable member in the dispenser-member body during actuation.
Abstract:
An outlet assembly for an aerosol assembly comprises a valve assembly and a metering member. The valve assembly comprises a valve housing, a valve stem defining a stem inlet and a stem outlet, a valve spring, and a valve seal. Movement of the valve stem from a first stem position to an intermediate stem position disengages the valve stem from the valve seal such that fluid is allowed to flow into the stem inlet and out of the stem outlet. The valve stem displaces the metering member from a first metering position to a second metering position as the valve stem moves from the first stem position to the intermediate stem position. Movement of the valve stem causes the valve stem to move relative to the metering member such that the metering member covers the stem inlet to prevent flow of fluid into the stem inlet and out of the stem outlet. The spring member displaces the valve stem such that the valve stem carries the metering member while the metering member covers the stem inlet to prevent flow of fluid into the stem inlet and out of the stem outlet.
Abstract:
A hand applicator 3 (FIG. 1) to be fastened to the valve connection 2 of the bottle with the gun applicator adapter 1 where the hand applicator contains an adapter 4 with a cavity to be fastened to the valve connection 2 of the bottle, where the adapter 4 contains an extension 4.1 of the cavity wall at the end to be fastened to the valve connection 2 as well as a sealing ring 4.2 for sealing the adapter 4 on the valve connection 2 close to the lower edge of the inner side of the cavity wall extension 4.1; a support foot 6 formed on the handle 5 where there is a spigot 4.1 to be fixed to the support 1.1 of the fun applicator adapter 1 at the end of the support foot 6, and the handle 5 whose support surface is directly above the valve connection 2 on the hand applicator 3 placed onto the valve connection 2. Whereby the support surface of the handle 5 of the hand applicator 3 is formed with a concavity 5.1 whose bottom is directly above the valve connection 2 if the hand applicator 3 is placed onto the valve connection 2, in such a way that the centre axis of the cavity of the adapter 4 and the centre axis of the valve connection 2 run through the bottom of the concavity 5.1 so that the imaginary tangent of the lowest point of the concavity bottom 5.1 is mainly perpendicular to the centre axis of the valve connection 2. The support surface of the handle 5 of the hand applicator 3 may also be formed with two concavities 5.1 and with the elevation
Abstract:
A deer lure dispensing apparatus and method of use including a dispensing container containing a quantity of animal urine and a pressurized aerosol propellant. The contents are dispersed through an atomizing nozzle when a container valve is opened and locked. The lure dispensing apparatus is made to disperse its contents irrespective of its orientation. Therefore, the lure dispensing apparatus may be set to disperse, then dropped or thrown from a tree stand. It may also be inverted to spray a simulated scrape or to create a scent trail along the path a hunter walks.
Abstract:
A dispensing system includes a shroud for holding a container that is adapted to fit within a user's hand. The shroud includes a first diameter proximate a bottom edge of the shroud, a second diameter between the bottom edge and a top edge of the shroud, and a third diameter proximate the top edge of the shroud. An actuation member forms a portion of a sidewall of the shroud and the second diameter is less than the first diameter.
Abstract:
A dispensing system includes a shroud having a gripping portion. An actuation area of the shroud is between about 15% to about 95% of a surface area of the gripping portion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispenser for dispensing an adhesive or sealant from a vessel, in particular from a pressurized vessel, via a valve. For this purpose, the dispenser is equipped with a lever with a grip region for actuating the valve. The dispenser also has an attachment, on which the lever is fitted in a pivotable manner, and an actuator with a supporting region for the lever. The actuator is configured such that it can be rotated relative to the attachment, and the supporting region is therefore variable, in order to change the effective lever path for the actuation of the valve, for activating or deactivating the dispenser or for varying the volume flow as product is dispensed.
Abstract:
A safety device for a container having a dispenser rod that is controlled by being depressed may comprise a base configured to be secured to the container while the container is in use; and a blocking member pivotally movable relative to the base, and configured to take up an active position in which it opposes depression of the dispenser rod by an endpiece coupled to the dispenser rod, said endpiece being moved by the user in order to cause product to be dispensed, and an inactive position in which it allows the dispenser rod to be depressed, the blocking member being capable of keeping the active or inactive position into which it is placed by the user once the user ceases to act on the blocking member, the blocking member being connected by a hinge to the base.
