    Abstract: A search operation can provide geographically restricted and verified information to a user. A two-step approach is used to perform these searches. The first step is to obtain high relevance search results by searching only in a specific region defined for a search operation. The second step further improves the quality of the search results by performing contact address correlation. If the search server finds a reliable reference address in the search results, then these search results can be presented to the user, whereby search results that are not correlating well with legitimate and registered addresses for the site are removed from the search result lists. Therefore, the region-restricted search does searching in a selected geographical region and only presents legitimate web pages or search results to a user.

    Abstract: A power delivery system wirelessly delivers electric power and a communication signal to a target device. The power delivery system includes a power transmitting unit having a power source operable to source alternating current power and a sending resonant coupling component operable to couple the alternating current power to a coil for wireless power transmission by a non-radiated magnetic field at a target resonant frequency. The power transmitting unit is capable of dynamically tuning the wireless power transmission to the target resonant frequency wherein the target resonant frequency is specified dynamically. A communication module couples to the power transmitting unit and is operable to couple the communication signal to the non-radiated magnetic field. Operations may include target device authentication, target resonant frequency information communication, billing, and device management.

    Abstract: Determining video content type of a video displayed on a LCD and triggering adjustment in drive power of the LCD based on the video content type. The video content type indicates relative content motion of the video. A video content type detection module is one or combination of a software and a hardware and directs the LCD to be driven relative slower or faster based upon video content. The module independently or in conjunction with another module identifies an active window from a plurality of windows corresponding to a plurality of applications running on the host device and sets the drive power of the LCD based on speed of a video displayed on the active window.     Abstract: A digital electronic device includes a time shifter/tone adapter that eliminates unwanted audio effects at recipient device, that includes stutter and loss of audio synchronization, as a result of video quality adaptation (the video quality adapter varies frame rate, pixel and color resolutions without having a discernable difference in picture quality, that is, drops many frames in every frame set). The tone adaptation involves gradual frequency shifting, that is, gradual up shifting until synchronization with video is obtained (time shifting), then gradual down shifting. The recipient device (or a set top box) may contain a time shifter/tone adapter that eliminates unwanted audio effects at the recipient devices that may include stutter and loss of audio synchronization, as a result of loss of packets in channel.
