Abstract: A UE in one of an RRC idle mode or an RRC inactive mode may transmit a plurality of UL reference signals to the base station, receive a first L1 ACK message based on the transmission of the plurality of UL signals from the base station, and transmit UL data via at least one PUR based on the received first L1 ACK message. The plurality of UL signals may include SRS. The UE may receive a PUR configuration from the base station. The UE may determine to drop the transmission of one or more first UL signals, or the base station may determine to omit the transmission of the first L1 ACK message in response to one or more first UL signals, based on L1 ACK density or L1 ACK message in the L1 ACK monitoring window.

Abstract: Aspects relate to validating a pre-configured uplink resource (PUR) occasion. For example, prior to using a PUR occasion for an uplink transmission, a user equipment (UE) may perform a validation procedure for the PUR occasion. A validation procedure for a PUR occasion may involve ensuring that the UE will be able to reliably transmit during the PUR occasion. A base station may send a PUR configuration to the UE that the UE can use for the validation procedure. The PUR configuration may include timing advance (TA) validation information and PUR validation information that depend on at least on capability of the UE.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communication over a shared spectrum carrier utilizing a broadcast, common control channel. The broadcast control channel may be multiplexed with a unicast control channel. Further, a scheduling entity may allocate a semi-static set of resources for the broadcast control channel, providing a shared search space on the shared spectrum carrier. The resource allocation for the shared search space may be based on one or more parameters, which may be cell-specific parameters. This shared search space may include resources distributed across the shared spectrum carrier, or a contiguous set of resources that spans only a portion of the carrier. The broadcast control channel may be configured for high reliability, and may carry time-critical control information relating to access control for the shared spectrum carrier. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform one or more operations for receive antenna switching. For example, a UE may receive a set of reference signals from a base station using one or more ports of the UE. Based on receiving the set of reference signals, the UE may generate channel state information (CSI) associated with a set of antenna ports. In some cases, the UE may generate CSI based on receiving a configuration indicating the set of antenna ports. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a CSI report including the CSI information associated with the set of antenna ports and an indication of the associated antenna ports. The base station may receive the CSI report and may communicate with the UE using a set of precoders associated with the set of indicated antennas ports.
