Abstract:
An automatic open-close device for use with a fitting, the device may include a rack secured to the fitting; a pinion structured to mesh with the rack; a turn-driving mechanism structured to drive the pinion to turn; and a holding member structured to rotatably hold the pinion. The holding member may be movable between a meshing position in which the rack and the pinion are engaged and a disengaging position in which the rack and the pinion are disengaged. The rack and the pinion may be configured such that, when the holding member is in the meshing position and the driving mechanism drives the pinion to turn, the fitting opens and closes.
Abstract:
An oven appliance includes a cabinet that defines a chamber. A pair of doors is rotatably mounted to provide selective access to the chamber of the cabinet. The pair of doors is connected with a linkage assembly such that the doors rotate open and closed simultaneously. The linkage assembly includes a spur gear that engages another gear of the linkage assembly. The spur gear can hinder unwanted rotation of the pair of doors or compress the pair of doors against a seal.
Abstract:
A balanced hinge device with a brake has a first connector (3) adapted to be fixed to a structure or frame and connected via at least a kinematic element (8) to a second connector (5) adapted to be fixed to a door or a shutter. The device (1) has at least one friction part (9) fixed to at least one among the first connector (3), the second connector (5) and the kinematic element (8). Each friction part (9) slidably contacts, at least at a predetermined rotation arc of one connector (3, 5) with respect to the other connector, a portion of at least one among the first connector (3), the second connector (5) and the kinematic element (8) and with at least a contact (11).
Abstract:
A powered garage door opener is provided for operating a garage door between an open and closed position. The powered garage door opener comprises a main housing mounted adjacent the garage door. An electric motor and gear train assembly is mounted within the main housing and coupled to the garage door to drive the garage door between the open and closed positions. A power supply is mounted within the main housing and electrically connected to the electric motor and gear train assembly. A control module is mounted within the main housing and electrically connected to the power supply and the electric motor and gear train assembly for controlling selective actuation of the electric motor and gear train assembly. The electric motor and gear train assembly includes a secondary housing, an electric motor sealed within the secondary housing, a worm gear coupled to and driven by the electric motor, a spur gear in meshed engagement with the worm gear, and a driven shaft mounted to the spur gear and coupled to garage door. The electric motor provides electrical power to drive the worm and spur gears, rotating the driven shaft, to provide power actuation of the garage door and the gear relationship between the worm gear and spur gear allows the spur gear to back drive the worm gear and provide manual actuation of the garage door.

Abstract:
A coupling device of a shading member, includes a frame and two coupling modules. Each coupling module includes a main member fixed to a top or a bottom of the shading member, two positioning members connected to the main member, and two controlling members connected to the positioning members. The positioning members are received in the main member, each of which has a gear to engage a rack of the frame. The positioning members are movable by moving the controlling members to make the gears engage or disengage the racks. As a result, the shading member is able to be assembled or disassembled in an easy way.
Abstract:
Support and operating device for sliding doors, in particular for wardrobe cabinets, wherein the doors (6) are moved from a closed and lowered position, to an open and raised position, shifted forward in relation to the closed doors, and vice versa. The device comprising one upper group of component parts and one lower group of component parts for each door (6), suitable for determining the movement of the door in such a way that it is always kept in its correct parallel and orthogonal position in all the shifted positions thereof.
Abstract:
A linear gate drive assembly with a drive rail connectable to a gate panel. The drive rail has a first drive surface. A linear drive portion is coupled to the first drive surface and has teeth thereon with a first rolling tooth profile. The linear drive portion defines a toothed second drive surface. Dive motors are pivotally coupled to a support structure. A first drive wheel is attached to one drive motor and engages the first drive surface to impart an axial drive force on the drive rail. A second drive wheel is attached to another drive motor and engages the second drive surface. The second drive wheel has second teeth that mate with the first teeth and that define a second rolling tooth profile that substantially corresponds to the first rolling tooth profile. Rotation of the second drive wheel imparts axial and normal forces via a rolling teeth interface the mating teeth for moving the drive rail and the gate panel.
Abstract:
A system for safely and effectively winding a garage door spring features a hub assembly having a cylindrical hub with a cylindrical channel located there through. The hub assembly features a wheel gear located around the hub and a plurality of engagement prongs designed to snuggly engage a torsion spring winding cone. The hub assembly is divided into a first hub component and a second hub component. The system features a base with a semi-cylindrical notch and an arcuate lid pivotally located thereon. A plurality of support rollers are adjustably located around an inside of the notch and the lid. The hub assembly is positioned on the support rollers. A worm gear that interfaces with the wheel gear is attached to a drive shaft assembly that features a drive shaft that extends from the base for remote operation of the worm gear.
Abstract:
A door opener for opening a door having an external surface comprises a screw mounted for rotary motion and a carriage mounted on the screw such that rotation of the screw causes motion of the carriage along the screw. A motor rotates the screw. An actuator arm has a first end and a second end, where the actuator arm is operatively connected to the carriage such that movement of the carriage causes the actuator arm to move between a retracted position where the door is closed and an extended position where the door is open. The first end of the actuator arm is in contact with but not connected to the external surface of the door such that the first end of the actuator arm rides over the external surface of the door.
