A method for transmitting/receiving data in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access-time division duplex (OFDMA-TDD) scheme. A first uplink signal and a first downlink signal of a specific band are periodically transmitted/received within a time-divided section. A second uplink signal and a second downlink signal are periodically transmitted/received, and the second signal is of a band other than the specific band, within the time-divided section, wherein, during a time section in which the first downlink signal is transmitted, the second uplink signal is received.

A method for scheduling in a cellular system using a relay station (RS) through an inter-antenna cooperative transmission technology based on pre-cooperation information according to each channel in a cellular system using a cable RS in order to increase the throughput of the entire system. The steps include classifying all mobile stations (MSs) in a corresponding cell based into Cooperative Transmission (CT) MSs for cooperative transmission and Single Transmission (ST) MSs for to each channel; mapping channel-by-channel channel capacities of the CT MSs and ST MSs classified according to each channel, selecting a channel with a highest priority, and receiving a request message from a corresponding MS according to whether the capacity of the selected channel satisfies preset CT criteria and selecting an MS having a metric value of a highest priority according to a corresponding scheduling algorithm, from among multiple requesting MSs.

In a nitride semiconductor light emitting device having patterns formed on the upper and lower surfaces of a substrate from which light is emitted in a flip chip bonding structure, the patterns are capable of changing light inclination at the upper and lower surfaces of the substrate to decrease total reflection at the interfaces, thereby improving light emitting efficiency. The device includes a substrate having upper and lower surfaces on which predetermined patterns are formed such that light can be incident within a critical angle, the substrate allowing a gallium nitride-based semiconductor material to be grown thereon, an n-type nitride semiconductor layer formed on the upper surface of the substrate, an active layer formed on the upper surface of the n-type nitride semiconductor layer such that the n-type nitride semiconductor layer is partially exposed, a p-type nitride semiconductor layer formed on the upper surface of the active layer, a p-electrode formed on the upper surface of the p-type nitride semiconductor layer, and an n-side electrode formed on the partially exposed n-type nitride semiconductor layer.

The traveling device for crawler type heavy equipment includes first and second variable displacement hydraulic pumps, switching valves for left and right traveling motors and working devices, a straight traveling valve shifted to supply hydraulic fluid to the switching valves for the left and right traveling motors and to the switching valves for the working devices in response to a signal pressure in a combined working mode, a variable orifice shifted to intercept the supply of the hydraulic fluid toward the traveling device in response to the signal pressure in the combined working mode if a load pressure of the working device is relatively higher than that of the traveling device, a mode selection device for selecting a working mode, and a controller for outputting control signals to electro proportional valves and to electric control valves so as to control discharged flow rates of the first and second hydraulic pumps in accordance with the selected working mode.

An electron emission device includes a pair of anode and cathode substrates facing each other, and cathode electrodes, an insulating layer, and gate electrodes sequentially deposited on the cathode substrate. Gate holes are formed within the respective pixels by partially removing the gate electrodes and the insulating layer. Each pixel is divided into a central pixel region and a peripheral pixel region. Electron emission regions are placed on the cathode electrodes inside the gate holes to emit electrons. Anode electrodes and a phosphor screen are formed on the anode substrate. A uniform electric field is applied to the electron emission regions arranged at the central pixel region, and a non-uniform electric field is applied to the electron emission regions arranged at the peripheral pixel region excluding the central pixel region.

In allocating bandwidth using a Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) fairness mechanism in a node connected to an RPR network, when congestion occurs, an amount of traffic that the node has transmitted to a ring during one aging interval is stored together with its own identifier in a fairness message as a fairness transmission rate to be advertised to its own upstream nodes. The amount of traffic transmitted from the upstream node during the aging interval is measured and stored. When the congestion has been solved, an available bandwidth is calculated with reference to the fairness transmission rate and the amount of traffic transmitted from the upstream nodes, and the fairness transmission rate is calculated to fairly allocate the available bandwidth to the upstream nodes so that the fairness transmission rate is transmitted to the upstream nodes.

Provided is a digital video recorder for processing digital video data continuously input in frame units and storing the data on a video storing portion, which includes a wavelet conversion portion to classify digital video data of a present frame by frequency band, a motion area dividing portion to divide the present frame into a high frequency band and a low frequency band according to the digital video data classified by the wavelet conversion portion, a motion detecting portion to generate fractal coefficients from video data in the low frequency band of the present frame, compare the generated fractal coefficients with fractal coefficients of a preceding frame to obtain difference values therebetween, and obtain motion information of the present frame from the difference values, and an adaptive storage control portion to obtain a motion weighted value of the present frame according to the motion information from the motion detecting portion when a storage capacity of the video storing portion is not more than a first set capacity which is less the half of a total capacity of the video storing portion, and store or not the motion information of the present frame in the video storing portion according to the motion weighted value of the present frame.
