Abstract: This production method produces a stator that includes a plurality of segment coils that are annularly arranged in a plurality of layers that overlap in the radial direction of a stator core. The production method involves a tool that has teeth being moved by a robot manipulator and the teeth being inserted between the ends of leg parts of the layers. The ends that engage the teeth are thereby bent so as to be substantially crank-shaped. Before the teeth are inserted between the ends, a restraining jig is inserted between bend parts of the segment coils of the layers and an end surface of the stator core that is on one side in the axial direction.

Abstract: A cover is provided with a connection portion on an outer peripheral portion for conducting fastening. The connection portion is provided with a fastening face that is fastened by a bolt on a top face and a connecting face that is connected to the base on a bottom face, and the connection portion is formed into a stepped shape with steps that form a recessed shape on the top face and a projected shape on the bottom face with respect to the outer peripheral portion. The steps are set to have dimensions less than a thickness of a plate material. The stepped shape is provided with an outer face of the step and an inner face of the step that do not overlap each other in a planer direction of the connecting face.

A seat cushion cover includes a porous cover main body portion covering the pad main body, and a movable cover portion that is positioned between the pad main body and the slide pad and that is deformed by sliding the slide pad. The seat cushion cover includes a close-off cover portion that closes off a gap between an end portion on the slide pad side of the seal member and the cover main body portion.
