Abstract: This application discloses a method and an apparatus for sending indication information. The method includes: A network device determines a location of first indication information in at least one piece of second indication information based on first information. The first information includes at least one of identification information of a first terminal device and time information of a first preset time period, the first terminal device is one of to-be-woken-up terminal devices that are within a discontinuous reception outside active time period, and the first indication information indicates the first terminal device to enter an inside active time period within a preset time period. The network device sends the second indication information on a time-frequency resource corresponding to the first preset time period. The second indication information indicates at least one to-be-woken-up terminal device to enter an inside active time period within a corresponding time period.

Abstract: A terminal device receives a first system information change indication on a WUR link, and/or determines, on the WUR link, that a cell is changed, where the first system information change indication indicates that system information is changed. The terminal device receives the system information on an NR link if the system information is changed, before establishing or restoring a connection on the NR link. If the terminal device determines that the system information is not changed, the terminal device may not need to receive the system information. For example, the terminal device may directly establish or restore the connection on the NR link when the terminal device does not need to receive the system information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a bandwidth allocation method and apparatus, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, virtual bandwidth configuration information, where the virtual bandwidth configuration information is used for indicating a configuration of a virtual bandwidth; and performing, by the user equipment, signal reception and/or signal processing according to the virtual bandwidth indicated by the virtual bandwidth configuration information, where each virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, and the downlink maximum available bandwidth is a maximum bandwidth available for downlink transmission. In the embodiments of the present invention, reduction of overheads and reduction of complexity of signal reception and signal processing are implemented, and overheads and complexity of signal reception and processing feedback can be flexibly controlled.

Abstract: A channel state measurement method includes: in a time period between two consecutive times of reporting of channel state information (CSI) reports, determining, based on a status of a CSI-reference signal (RS) resource on a second frequency domain resource, whether a CSI report includes CSI of the second frequency domain resource; or during reporting of a CSI report, determining whether reporting has been performed for the second frequency domain resource. If CSI of the second frequency domain resource has been reported in a current discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, a current CSI report does not include CSI of the second frequency domain resource; otherwise, a CSI report that currently needs to be reported needs to include CSI of the second frequency domain resource. Alternatively, a terminal receives and measures a CSI-RS resource provided that the CSI-RS resource is within an active time of any frequency domain resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a random access method and a terminal, applied to the communication field, to improve uplink coverage in high frequency band communication systems such as 5G and 6G communication systems. The method in embodiments of this application includes: A network device configures a plurality of SULs in one cell, where the plurality of SULs are used to supplement uplink coverage of the cell; the network device sends configuration information of the plurality of SULs to a terminal device; and after receiving the configuration information, the terminal device may select one SUL used for random access from the plurality of SULs based on the configuration information. In embodiments of this application, because the cell includes the plurality of SULs, a requirement that a large quantity of terminals in the cell can access a network can be met, and a success rate of uplink random access by the plurality of terminals is improved. Embodiments of this application further provide a terminal. The terminal is configured to select a first SUL used for random access from a plurality of SULs.
