Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a paging message in a cloud radio access network (RAN) system is provided. A baseband unit (BBU) or a mobility management entity (MME) determines a location update range of a user equipment (UE) based on moving speed and a moving direction of the UE, and transmits information this to the UE. The UE transmits information on moving information of the UE, which is determined based on the received information and a measurement result with respect to at least one accessible remote radio frequency (RF) unit (RRU) of the UE, and the measurement result to the BBU or the MME; and The BBU or MME updates the location update range of the UE based on the received measurement result and the moving information of the UE, and transmits a paging message to the UE through at least one RRU included in the updated location update range of the UE.

In addition, a method and apparatus for determining candidate source devices of client cooperation in a wireless communication system is provided. In addition, a method and apparatus for determining cooperative devices of client cooperation in a wireless communication system is provided. The client cooperation helps a source device communicating with a base station through a cooperative device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for establishing, by a first device, a device-to-device (D2D) connection with a second device in a wireless communication system is provided. When the D2D connection is initiated by a network, the first device receives a D2D broadcast configuration message including information on the second device, from the network, and determines whether to establish the D2D connection with the second device or not. Or, when the D2D connection is initiated by the first device, the first device determines whether to establish the D2D connection with the second device or not, based on at least one of a proximity between the first device and the second device based on a profile of the second device obtained through a neighbor discovery procedure.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reconstruction of a protocol data unit (PDU) for fast and reliable retransmission of a service data unit (SDU) after maximum retransmission is provided. Upon determining that a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) retransmission of a first PDU including a specific SDU is unsuccessful, a wireless device constructs a second PDU including the first SDU which is prioritized to be included in the second PDU.
Abstract:
In the present disclosure, a UE transmits a random access preamble (RAP) on a physical random access channel (PRACH) and a common control channel (CCCH) service data unit (SDU) on a physical uplink channel (PUSCH). The UE receives a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) based on transmitting the RAP and the CCCH SDU. The MAC PDU may include a MAC PDU associated with a contention resolution identity (CRID) in the MAC PDU. The UE determines whether a MAC SDU is present or not in the MAC PDU, based on the MAC SDU indicator associated with a CRID in the MAC PDU in a state in which the CRID matches the CCCH SDU.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting a scheduling request (SR) by a terminal in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises: a step for receiving setting information related to an SR; and a step for transmitting at least one SR on the basis of the setting information. On the basis of the at least one SR overlapping with a different type of uplink control information (UCI), a UCI bit in which a specific field related to the at least one SR and the different type of UCI are combined is transmitted. On the basis of the at least one SR being related to beam failure recovery (BFR), the specific field indicates the beam failure recovery.
Abstract:
A method for receiving downlink data by the terminal in a wireless communication system, includes receiving, from a base station, downlink control information for scheduling a short physical downlink shared channel (sPDSCH) on a short physical downlink control channel (sPDCCH), and receiving, from the base station, downlink data on the sPDSCH based on the downlink control information. Here, the sPDCCH and the sPDSCH are based on a first transmission time interval (TTI)-based radio frame structure, wherein the first TTI-based radio frame structure is shorter in time than a second TTI-based radio frame structure related to (i) a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and (ii) a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). Further, a number of resource element groups (REGs) consisting of a control channel element (CCE) related to the sPDCCH is smaller than a number of resource element groups (REGs) composed of a CCE related to the PDCCH.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for performing a random access procedure by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes transmitting a first number of random access preambles; detecting a second number of random access responses corresponding to the first number of random access preambles; and transmitting an payload using one uplink grant for which a listen before talk (LBT) procedure is firstly successful among a second number of uplink grants included in the second number of random access responses.
Abstract:
The present description provides a method for transmitting uplink (UL) data in a wireless communication system. A method, which is carried out by means of a terminal, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, control information related to transmission of low latency radio (LLR) service data; transmitting, on the basis of the received control information, the low latency radio service data to the base station through an urgent channel, wherein the control information comprises urgent channel information and/or urgent bearer information defined for transmission of the low latency radio service data.
