Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may receive a resource allocation for transmitting a transport block (TB) over a set of time slots. The TB may include a set of coded bits. In some aspects, the device may determine starting indexes of subsets of the coded bits, each subset of the coded bits may be for transmission during a respective subset of time slots. In some other aspects, the device may receive a configured grant for a transmission of the TB over the set of time slots. In other aspects, the device may scale a size of the TB based on a first value independent of a second value associated with a number of time slots associated with the set of time slots. The device may transmit the TB over the set of time slots based on one or more of the example aspects.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a network entity scheduling a set of multiple periodic tracking reference signals (TRSs) and indicating a transmission power level for the periodic TRSs. For example, the control signaling may be received via radio resource control (RRC). The UE may receive a downlink control information (DCI) message from the network entity indicating an adjustment to the transmission power level and a resource for an aperiodic TRS. The UE may monitor the resource for the aperiodic TRS in accordance with the indicated adjustment to the transmission power level. The UE may transmit a message to the network entity indicating a measurement of the aperiodic TRS based on the adjustment to the power level. The adjustment to the power level may apply to one or more of the set of multiple periodic TRSs.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of at least two time division duplex (TDD) patterns. The UE may communicate based at least in part on a first pattern of the at least two TDD patterns. The UE may communicate based at least in part on a second pattern of the at least two TDD patterns, based at least in part on a timer, associated with the first pattern, expiring. In some aspects, the UE may further communicate based at least in part on a third pattern of the at least two TDD patterns. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may communicate during asynchronous slots in accordance with a set of communication parameters determined from a handshake procedure performed with a second base station. For example, based on a change to a slot type of a slot to an asynchronous slot, the first base station and the second base station may perform the handshake procedure to determine the set of communication parameters and may communicate one or more messages during the slot in accordance with the set of communication parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) associated with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state based on a slot type of a first slot in which the UE transmits the SRS and a reference signal received in a second slot having the slot type.

Abstract: A UE may identify slots to transmit and/or receive information related to one or more HARQ processes in frame structure that includes both sub-band full duplex slot types and time division duplex slot types. Based on a first slot used for control information, a UE can identify a second slot for PUSCH or PDSCH communication based on an offset between the first slot and the second determined by calculating slot offsets (e.g., based on parameters received from a base station). In some aspects, a UE may exclude certain slot duplex types (e.g., SBFD or TDD) when calculating slot offsets. In some aspects, a UE may calculate slot offsets differently for different HARQ processes corresponding to one frame. In some aspects, slot offset behaviors may be based on priority of information associated with a HARQ process.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Communication devices may perform secret key generation using a set of line-of-sight (LOS) communication modes to secure a physical channel. For example, a first device and a second device may communicate a set of reference signals over the physical channel using a set of LOS communication modes. The first device and the second device may generate a secret key based on the set of LOS communication modes, for example, by using information associated with the set of LOS communication modes to compute the secret key using a key derivation function that outputs the secret key. The first device and the second device may secure the physical channel by encrypting signaling between the first device and the second device with the secret key and communicating the signaling over the physical channel using LOS communications.
