Abstract: The disclosure of the present invention proposes a method for connecting to a base station. The method may be performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprise: receiving information on a UE-specific bandwidth of a first cell. Here, the UE-specific bandwidth of the first cell is variable based on a bandwidth of a second cell using long term evaluation (LTE) radio access technology (RAT). The information on the UE-specific bandwidth may indicate a bandwidth between a bandwidth between a minimum bandwidth and a maximum bandwidth.

Abstract: A method and a device for performing a random access in a wireless communication system are provided. Specifically, a wireless resource for transmitting a first random access request is selected, and the first random access request is transmitted through the wireless resource. The first random access request includes a transmission period of the first random access request, the frequency of retransmission, and an allowable error of the transmission period. Uplink resource allocation information is received in response to the first random access request. The uplink resource allocation information includes information on an indicator bit and a wireless resource shift. When the indicator bit is a preset value, a second random access request is transmitted through a wireless resource shifted from the wireless resource.

Abstract: Provided are methods and devices for transmitting/receiving downlink signals in a narrowband. A user equipment acquires a first cell identifier from a first carrier on which a narrowband synchronization signal (nSS) and a narrowband broadcast channel (nPBCH) are present. Carrier information for a second carrier on which the nSS and the PBCH are not present is provided to a user equipment. The user equipment receives downlink data on the second carrier based on the carrier information and a narrowband reference signal (NB-RS). The NB-RS is received based on the first cell identifier. Each of the first and second carriers operates in one resource block.

Abstract: The present specification provides a reception method of a machine type communication (MTC) device. The reception method can comprise the steps of: receiving a control channel through the entire system bandwidth on first and second orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of a subframe; and determining whether to receive a data channel only in a reduced bandwidth compared with the system bandwidth from the third symbol of the subframe. At this point, when the control channel does not continue up until a third symbol of the subframe, the data channel can be received in a reduced bandwidth compared with the system bandwidth from the third symbol of the subframe.
