Abstract: In an example, a printing apparatus may include, a rotatable shaft, a removable drum mounted on the shaft and a fixing element to fixedly couple the removable drum to the shaft, so that the removable drum is to rotate with the shaft. The printing apparatus may also include a heater, a printing apparatus satellite component located adjacent to the removable drum and engageable with the removable drum and a controller. The controller may be to receive a command to prepare the removable drum for removal; and in response, control the shaft to rotate the removable drum; control the heater to heat the removable drum while it rotates; and control the printing apparatus to engage the satellite component of the printing apparatus with the removable drum while it rotates.

Abstract: A system, a method, and a machine-readable medium for overclocking a computer system is provided. An example of a method for overclocking a computer system includes predicting a stable operating frequency for a central processing unit (CPU) in a target system based, at least in part, on a model generated from data collected for a test system. An operating frequency for the CPU is adjusted to the stable operating frequency. A benchmark test is run to confirm that the CPU is operating within limits.

Abstract: A conditioner includes a pressure roller assembly, a tension roller assembly, a heating element, a pressure roller drive motor, a tension drive motor, and a controller. The heating element heats the pressure roller assembly. The pressure roller drive motor rotates the pressure roller assembly. The tension drive motor rotates the tension roller assembly. The controller receives a print job complete notification to initiate a conditioner shutdown. In response to the print job complete notification, the controller turns off the tension drive motor. The controller sets the heating element to a predetermined temperature and waits a first predetermined period. In response to the first predetermined period elapsing, the controller turns off the heating element. With the heating element turned off, the controller turns off the pressure roller drive motor.

Abstract: An imaging system includes a housing, a developer roller that transfers developer to an image carrier at a development region, a developer regulator to limit a thickness of the developer carried on the developer roller, and an air passage that extends outside a development chamber. The air passage has an inlet to draw an airflow, and an outlet located between the developer regulator and the development region. The air passage has a cross section orthogonal to a direction of the airflow from the inlet to the outlet. In the cross section taken at the narrowest position where the air passage is the narrowest, a width in a width direction parallel to a rotational axis of the developer roller is greater than a thickness that is perpendicular to the width direction.

Abstract: In an example in accordance with the present disclosure, a system is described that includes a hub for routing data traffic between a first computing device and a second computing device. A detection device of the system detects a communication protocol between the computing devices. A switch of the system routes traffic directly between the computing devices when a first communication protocol is detected. When a second communication protocol is detected, the switch re-routes traffic of the first type from the first computing device back to the hub to convert the traffic of the first type to a second type and routes converted traffic directly to the second computing device.
