    Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for uplink panel selection with power saving. In some embodiments, user equipment (UE) may experience a positional change. In response, the UE may deactivate a first communication panel to save power and activate a second communication panel. The UE may then transmit a status message to a communication node indicating the activation and/or deactivation. The node may then register this activation and/or deactivation. In some embodiments, the node may monitor uplink slots from the first and second communication panel to identify the activation and deactivation. For example, if the node detects an absence of an uplink signal within a slot threshold, the node may identify the panel as being deactivated. The node may establishing communications with another panel based on a detected signal and/or the status message.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes memory storing instructions and processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is to implement the instructions to select a resource block group (RBG) size configuration from a set of RBG size configurations based on a bandwidth part (BWP) size. Each RBG size configuration is to indicate RBG sizes associated with respective ranges of BWP sizes, and the RBG sizes are to indicate a number of frequency-domain physical resource blocks (PRBs) for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The processing circuitry is further to implement the instructions to allocate PRBs for communication between the gNB device and a user equipment (UE) device via the PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions based on the selected RBG size, and to encode downlink control information (DCI) that indicates the allocated PRBs for transmission to the UE device.

    Abstract: In one example, a method for a user equipment (UE) includes generating uplink (UL) signal data. The UL signal data includes UL control information (UCI) and UL shared channel (UL-SCH), the UCI includes a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledge (HARQ-ACK) feedback or a channel state information (CSI) report, and the CSI report includes a first CSI part and a second CSI part.     Abstract: Disclosed herein are timing determination techniques for 5G radio access network (RAN) cells. According to various such techniques, a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink (DL) scheduling command to schedule a DL data transmission from a base station. The UE may identify a scheduled slot for transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback corresponding to the DL data transmission based on a received slot of the DL data transmission and an applicable slot offset value. The applicable slot offset value may indicate a number of slots by which the received slot precedes the scheduled slot. The applicable slot offset value may be identified from a value set based on an indicator comprised in the DL scheduling command, or may be identified using the various other techniques described herein.

    Abstract: The disclosure describes mechanisms for reliability enhancement on control channel and data channel and mechanisms in URLLC. An apparatus of a RAN node for URLLC includes baseband circuitry to configure at least one DCI for scheduling transmission of at least one PDSCH content having same information. For each DCI, the baseband circuitry determines a CORESET for transmitting the DCI. The disclosure further describes mechanisms for the support of low latency transmission in URLLC. To improve peak data rate and spectrum efficiency in FDD system, the RAN node configures a DCI for scheduling data transmission using blank resources of a self-contained slot structure. Further, CBG-based transmission with separate HARQ-ACK feedback is provided to configure a DCI for scheduling data transmission of a TB and to divide the TB into multiple CBGs, and to configure uplink control data to carry separate HARQ feedback for the CBGs.
