Abstract:
A method for transmitting a sounding reference signal from a user equipment in a MIMO antenna wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving sounding reference signal setup information from a base station, the sounding reference signal setup information including an initial cyclic shift value nSRScs and an initial transmissionComb parameter value kTC; setting an interval between cyclic shift values corresponding to each antenna port based on the initial cyclic shift value, to reach a maximum interval; setting a transmissionComb parameter value corresponding to a specific one of the antenna ports to a value different from the initial transmissionComb parameter value if the initial cyclic shift value is a previously set value and the number of antenna ports is 4; and transmitting the sounding reference signal to the base station through each antenna port by using the set cyclic shift value and transmissionComb parameter value.
Abstract:
A method for specifying a transport block-to-codeword mapping relationship and a method for transmitting a downlink signal using the same are described. If a swap flag has a first logic value, a first transport block is mapped to a first codeword and a second transport block is mapped to a second codeword. If the swap flag has a second logic value, the first transport block is mapped to the second codeword and the second transport block is mapped to the first codeword. If the size of any one of two transport blocks is 0, the swap flag is not used.

A method of transmitting data in a wireless communication system comprises receiving feedback data on an uplink data channel, the feedback data comprising a precoding matrix indicator (PMI), wherein the value of the PMI corresponds to an index in a codebook, transmitting a precoding scheme for downlink data on a downlink control channel, wherein the precoding scheme is determined as one of at least two of a transmit diversity irrespective of the received PMI, an acknowledgement indicating precoding according to the received PMI and a new PMI indicating that it is used in precoding downlink data to be transmitted, and transmitting the downlink data on a downlink data channel after applying precoding according to the determined precoding scheme.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting feedback information in a multiple antenna system is provided. The method includes selecting at least one subband selected from a plurality of subbands according to subband preset information, the subband preset information being a preset on data processing settled for each of the plurality of subbands, and transmitting a subband index of the selected subband. Only a subband index is fed back instead of separately transmitting a precoder index or a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) level index to each UE, thereby reducing feedback overhead.

A method for transmitting a downlink control channel in a mobile communication system and a method for mapping the control channel to physical resources using a block interleaver are provided. In order to transmit a downlink control channel in a mobile communication system, information bits are modulated to generate one or more modulation symbols according to a specific modulation scheme, the modulation symbols are interleaved using a block interleaver, and the interleaved modulated symbols are mapped to resource elements allocated for transmission of at least one control channel in a subframe, thereby transmitting the at least one control channel.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data in a multiple antenna system includes transmitting first data through a first pilot pattern zone in which pilots are arranged in a specific pilot pattern in a permutation zone having at least one tile comprising a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols and a plurality of subcarriers, and transmitting second data through a second pilot pattern zone in which pilots are arranged in another pilot pattern different from the pilot pattern of the first pilot pattern zone in the permutation zone. Accordingly, a plurality of pilot patterns can be simultaneously used in one permutation zone, and thus waste of radio resources caused by the use of unnecessary pilots can be reduced by adaptively assigning pilots according to various channel environments and performances of user equipments.
