Abstract:
Embodiments that are described herein provide improved methods and systems for predicting threatened POIs. In some embodiments, an automated location tracking system tracks the locations of one or more target individuals. The locations of the target individuals may be tracked, for example, by tracking the cellular phones of the targets, or using various other automated location tracking techniques. Based on the tracked locations, a prediction system anticipates the future locations of the targets. Over time, the system uses this information to progressively narrow down the list of possibly-threatened POIs.
Abstract:
Embodiments described herein facilitate receipt of image data, by providing apparatus and methods for constructing and/or utilizing a database of networked imaging devices. Communication transmitted over a network is identified as being from an imaging device. One or more identifiers, under which the communication is transmitted, are then extracted from the communication. For example, one or more Internet Protocol (IP) addresses may be extracted. The identifiers are associated in a database with respective physical locations. When a particular area is defined as an area of interest, at least one of the identifiers is selected from the database, the selected identifier being associated with a physical location that is within, or near, the area of interest. Image data transmitted under the selected identifier is then received by the interested parties.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for tracking mobile communication terminals based on their identifiers. The disclosed techniques identify cellular terminals and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminals that are likely to be carried by the same individual, or cellular and WLAN identifiers that belong to the same multi-mode terminal. A correlation system is connected to a cellular network and to a WLAN. The system receives location coordinates of cellular identifiers used by mobile terminals in the cellular network, and location coordinates of WLAN identifiers used by mobile terminals in the WLAN. Based on the location coordinates, the system is able to construct routes that are traversed by the terminals having the various cellular and WLAN identifiers. The system attempts to find correlations in time and space between the routes.
Abstract:
A video stream from a webcam or video telephone is received. The video stream can be analyzed in real-time as it is being received or can be recorded and stored for later analysis. Information within the video streams can be extracted and processed by a facial and video content recognition engine and the information derived therefrom can be stored as metadata. The metadata can be used for enriching the call content recorded by a recorder. The information derived from the video streams can be used to solve business and legal issues.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for monitoring communication of mobile communication terminals, such as cellular phones. An off-air monitoring system reconstructs both directions of a call conducted between two mobile terminals by receiving only downlink channels. The off-air monitoring system receives multiple downlink transmissions transmitted by base stations in a wireless communication network. The system uses the received downlink transmissions to reconstruct the bidirectional call content of calls conducted between wireless terminals. In order to reconstruct the bidirectional content of a given call, the system identifies and correlates the two downlink transmissions of that call from among the multiple received downlink transmissions.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for fine-resolution mapping of cellular network coverage and capacity are described herein. An example method can include passively monitoring communication of multiple communication terminals in a cellular communication network, extracting from the monitored communication multiple data points and cell identifiers, and mapping an actual geographical coverage of at least a given cell of the cellular network based on the multiple data points. In particular, the multiple data points can comprise geographical positions that are measured and reported by the communication terminals while served by respective cells of the cellular communication network.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of script identification in audio data obtained from audio data. The audio data is segmented into a plurality of utterances. A script model representative of a script text is obtained. The plurality of utterances are decoded with the script model. A determination is made if the script text occurred in the audio data.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are methods of diarizing audio data using first-pass blind diarization and second-pass blind diarization that generate speaker statistical models, wherein the first pass-blind diarization is on a per-frame basis and the second pass-blind diarization is on a per-word basis, and methods of creating acoustic signatures for a common speaker based only on the statistical models of the speakers in each audio session.
Abstract:
A method for expanding an initial ontology via processing of communication data, wherein the initial ontology is a structural representation of language elements comprising a set of entities, a set of terms, a set of term-entity associations, a set of entity-association rules, a set of abstract relations, and a set of relation instances. A method for extracting a set of significant phrases and a set of significant phrase co-occurrences from an input set of documents further includes utilizing the terms to identify relations within the training set of communication data, wherein a relation is a pair of terms that appear in proximity to one another.
Abstract:
The system and method of separating speakers in an audio file including obtaining an audio file. The audio file is transcribed into at least one text file by a transcription server. Homogenous speech segments are identified within the at least one text file. The audio file is segmented into homogenous audio segments that correspond to the identified homogenous speech segments. The homogenous audio segments of the audio file are separated into a first speaker audio file and second speaker audio file the first speaker audio file and the second speaker audio file are transcribed to produce a diarized transcript.
