    摘要: A method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE) device, whether subscriber identification profile (SIDP) is stored within the UE device; sending, from the UE device, an attach request along with a universal globally unique temporary identifier (UGUTI) to a mobility management entity (MME) within a network, upon determining that the subscriber identification profile is not stored in the UE device; receiving, at the UE device, an authorization to attach to the network in response to the attach request; and accessing, by the UE device, the network in accordance with a pre-provisioned profile associated with the UGUTI, where the pre-provisioned profile limits access to the network.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for a 3G gateway. In a first embodiment, a method is disclosed for a network, comprising: receiving a relocation request message at a home nodeB gateway (HNBGW), the HNBGW coupled to an operator core network, the relocation request message including a target super cell identifier and a user equipment (UE) identifier; sending a second relocation request message from the HNBGW to a coordinating node, the coordinating node having as its identifier the target super cell identifier; querying a lookup table at the coordinating node using the UE identifier to determine a target cell identifier; replacing, in the second relocation request message, the target super cell identifier with the target cell identifier to create a third relocation request message; and sending the third relocation request message to a target cell identified by the target cell identifier.

    摘要: Capillary network devices (i.e., IMSI-less devices) may connect to an EPC through a home WLAN. A WLAN can be configured by the homeowner to accept responsibility for the traffic or a WLAN can indicate to a network that it will allow the traffic if the traffic is sponsored by an application server or if it is compensated for the traffic by the network operator. Where an IMSI-less device has a business relationship with a network operator, a WLAN can allow the device to authenticate with the network and obtain a device identifier from the network. Where an IMSI-less device has a business relationship with a SCS that has a business relationship with the network operator, the WLAN can allow the device to authenticate with the network.
