Abstract:
A method is provided for performing a random access procedure by a Node-B with a specific user equipment (UE) within a cell in which a plurality of UEs are located together. The Node-B transmits a random access procedure configuration including a basic sequence index related with a random access channel and zero correlation zone (ZCZ) configuration. The Node-B receives a random access preamble corresponding to the random access procedure configuration from the UE over the random access channel. A length of a cyclic part and a length of a sequence part of the random access preamble are differently given based on the random access procedure configuration. The random access preamble is generated from Constant Amplitude Zero Auto-Correlation (CAZAC) sequences based on the basic sequence index by applying a length of a cyclic shift according to the ZCZ configuration.

The method includes applying a set of Walsh codes to the UE-RSs; and transmitting the Walsh code applied UE-RSs on resource block (RB) pairs allocated to the UE. The applying includes: applying the set of Walsh codes to the UE-RSs in a forward direction of a time domain on a first subcarrier of a first RB pair, in a reverse direction of the time domain on a second subcarrier of the first RB pair and in the forward direction of the time domain on a third subcarrier of the first RB pair so as to be a first UE-RS pattern.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting uplink data in a wireless communication system, and a user equipment (UE) therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes configuring transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS) in a subframe of a first component carrier (CC) among a plurality of CCs; and transmitting the uplink data to a base station in the subframe of a second CC among the plurality of CCs. The SRS, whose transmission is configured in the first CC, is not transmitted in a symbol in the subframe of the first CC, when the transmission of the SRS and the transmission of the uplink data happen to overlap in the symbol.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus which transmit/receive at least one demodulation reference signal by using a CDM group and/or a transmission rank of a user device that have been used to transmit the at least one demodulation reference signal for the user device, an OCC that has been used to spread the demodulation reference signal, etc. Also, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus which change an antenna port for transmitting the demodulation reference signal by using NDI for a disabled transmission block.
Abstract:
A method of data transmission includes determining the number of layers, generating mapping symbols by mapping modulation symbols for a first codeword and modulation symbols for a second codeword to each layer, and transmitting the mapping symbols through a plurality of antennas. At least one of the first codeword and the second codeword is mapped to at least 3 layers and the number of layers is larger than 3.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting, by a user equipment, control information in a communication system. The method according to one embodiment includes multiplying transmission information corresponding to the control information by a frequency direction sequence, of which length corresponds to a number of subcarriers in a resource block, to generate a first output signal; multiplying the first output signal by a time direction sequence, of which length corresponds to a number of symbols used for transmission of the control information in a transmission unit, to generate a second output signal; and transmitting the second output signal in the transmission unit.
Abstract:
A method for generating Acknowledgement/Negative Acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information at a user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving a plurality of transport blocks through a plurality of downlink carriers from a base station. Each of the plurality of downlink carriers carries two or more transport blocks. The method according to the embodiment further includes generating the ACK/NACK information by concatenating ACK/NACK bits corresponding to the plurality of transport blocks. The ACK/NACK bits are concatenated using an index order of the downlink carriers and an index order of the two or more transport blocks associated with each of the downlink carriers. The index order of the downlink carriers is used firstly.
