Abstract:
A non-volatile memory device with improved integration and/or improved performance by reducing an area per bit and controlling a body bias, and a method of fabricating the same. The non-volatile memory device may use surface portions of the outer side surfaces and/or the upper surfaces of at least one pair of fins protruding from a body and extending, spaced from each other along one direction, as at least one pair of channel regions. At least one control gate electrode may be formed across the channel regions, and at least one pair of storage nodes may be interposed in at least one portion between the control gate electrode and the channel regions.
Abstract:
An electrically driven stepmotor valve assembly including separable annular stator and rotor-valve assemblies. The rotor-like assembly having a cylindrical housing adapted to slip fit inside a central, domed, stator cavity, with alignable locking members on these assemblies permitting rotary interlocking upon the slip fit assembly thereof. A sealing arrangement, in the vicinity of the open end of the stator assembly, peripherally seals the stator and rotor-valve assemblies relative to each other, when assembled, with the rotor housing having a locating plate ring portion which, in turn, supports an elastic sealing member that fits into a groove in a bottom wall of the stator housing. A plurality of differing sealing arrangement designs and structures, including sealing member reinforcing structures, are set forth for the sealing of the interlocked stator and rotor-valve assemblies relative to each other.
Abstract:
A method comprises the steps of forming a stack structure of a gate insulation film, a conductor layer for a gate electrode and a mask insulation film on both a cell part and on a peripheral circuit part of a semiconductor substrate; forming a gate stack structure by patterning the stack structure; forming a stack structure of first and second spacer insulation films on an entire upper surface of the gate stack structure; forming a spacer in which the first and second spacer insulation films are stacked one upon the other on a side wall of the gate stack structure, by anisotrophically etching portions of the stack structure of the first spacer insulation film and the second spacer insulation film of the peripheral circuit part, using a cell part mask which reveals the peripheral circuit part; forming an interlayer insulation film for flattening an entire upper surface of a resultant structure; and implementing a self-aligning contact process for revealing the cell part of the semiconductor substrate.

Provided is an orthokerato lens including a central portion located on a center of a lens and configured to change a refractive index by pressurizing a cornea, a fitting portion configured to form a negative pressure between the lens and the cornea to pile epithelial cells moved from the central portion, a fixing portion configured to be in contact with an eyeball and align the lens such that the center of the lens is located at a center of the cornea, a peripheral portion configured to allow tears between the lens and the eyeball to circulate, and a circulation hole configured to penetrate the central portion.
Abstract:
A golf putting apparatus is presented. The apparatus includes a putter with a shaft and a club head, wherein the club head has a center section carved out to form an opening. The bottom of the opening may be defined by a connector. When used with the opening uncovered, this putter provides the golfer with immediate feedback on his/her swing, such as whether the ball would have contacted the sweet spot of the club had the opening been closed, how hard the ball was hit, and which part of the ball was hit. A club face may be attached across the opening to “close” the opening so the putter may be used in a game.
Abstract:
An embodiment of Horizontal and Vertical Axis Wind Generator (HVAWG) concept with the rotating big and small wings, the magnectic coils, magnetic field magnets attached to the wings, generator motor, generator motor coils and generator motor magnetics is described. The generator motors in the present invention use the generator motor coils, the generator motor magnets, magnetic filed coils and magnetic field magnets to amplify the power using the repulsive characters of the same magnetic poles. Also, both the outside and the inside parts of the generator motors rotate the present invention while the inside parts of the generator motors rotate in the traditional wind generators. These features allows for a number of improvements over the current state of the art including damage protection, scalability depending the application and the speed regulation ability to remain operational during high wind and low wind conditions. In addition, the invention described here is scalable for cars, boats, airplanes, motor cycles, camping cars, drones, homes, offices, and power plants. Finally, the material of the horizontal and vertical axis wind generator is aluminum which is lighter, is easier to be installed, is durable and is corrosion resistant.
Abstract:
A golf putting apparatus that is portable and designed to enhance a golfer's skill level is presented. The apparatus includes a strip made of a flexible material that is configured to form an elongated flat surface in an extended position, anda carrier unit configured to detachably couple with the strip. The carrier unit has a first wall around which the strip is wound for storage, the first wall defining a cavity that is configured to catch a ball that travels off an end of the strip.
Abstract:
An embodiment of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) concept with the rotating impellers and the wind vanes attached to the impellers through the vane angle adjusting device is described. This feature allows for a number of improvements over the current state of the art including damage protection and the ability to remain operational during high wind conditions. Further described is the vane angle adjusting device and the impeller with the high load capacity and increased output. In addition, the cone clutch is described that blocks the power transmission from the wind vane and the impeller in case of strong gusts or wind.
