Abstract: Flavone derivatives, preparative method of the derivatives and use thereof as medicaments for treating diabetes. The structure of the derivatives is presented by formula 1: In the structure, R1 and R2, which are identical or not, represent hydrogen atom, halogen, cyano, hydroxyl, trifluoromethyl, thio-methyl, benzyloxy, C1-C8 linear chain or branch chain alkyl, C1-C8 linear chain or branch chain alkoxy. The pharmacological test indicates that the flavone derivatives can significantly increase the glucose consumption of Hep-G2 cell with insulin resistance activity, promote translocation of glucose transporter 4 of skeletal muscle cells (L6GLUT4myc) at different level, and significantly increase glucose intake and utilization by cells. The test proves the fact for the first time that the flavone derivatives can significantly promote translocation of glucose transporter 4 of skeletal muscle cells, and one of the mechanisms for treating diabetes is activating the cell AMPK phosphorylation and phosphorylating the downstream ACC.

Abstract: Adaptive profiling for performance analysis of a computer system controls one or more agents to monitor a plurality of events occurring in a target computer system based on an adaptive logic. Collected data may be filtered and analyzed to determine one or more contributor events that attribute to performance of the target computer system. One or more patterns are observed or detected in said collected data, behavior of said one or more agents are adjusted based on said detected one or more patterns. The adaptive logic may be further reconfigured based on said detected one or more patterns.

Abstract: A graceful restart (GR) method of a router, and a router and a communication network thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps. A control plane enters a GR state. Label switched path (LSP) packets sent by a neighbor router are received, and the label information of the control plane is recovered according to the LSP packets. Whether the label information is completely recovered is determined. If the label information is completely recovered, the GR state is exited, and label information of a forwarding plane is updated according to the recovered label information of the control plane. The GR method of a router, the router, and the communication network decide whether to exit the GR state by detecting whether the label information of the control plane is completely recovered. This can precisely control the time of exiting the GR state is controlled and improve the reliability of the router.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for dynamically allocating resources across multiple virtual machines. The method monitors the activities of the applications in each virtual machine running on a hosting server, determines the activities of the applications in each virtual machine based on the activities of the monitored applications, prioritizes each virtual machine based on the determined priorities of the applications in each virtual machine, and dynamically adjusts the resource allocation of each virtual machine on the hosting server based on the priority of each virtual machine. The resources of the hosting server can be dynamically allocated to each virtual machine according to the real-time resource requirement of the active applications, and the applications of different virtual machines can negotiate the resource allocation on the hosting server.

Abstract: An approach for composing an analytic solution is provided. After associating descriptive schemas with web services and web-based applets, a set of input data sources is enumerated for selection. A desired output type is received. Based on the descriptive schemas that specify required inputs and outputs of the web services and web-based applets, combinations of web services and web-based applets are generated. The generated combinations achieve a result of the desired output type from one of the enumerated input data sources. Each combination is derived from available web services and web-based applets. The combinations include one or more workflows that provide an analytic solution. A workflow whose result satisfies the business objective may be saved. Steps in a workflow may be iteratively refined to generate a workflow whose result satisfies the business objective.
