摘要: Exemplary techniques for policy-controlled analytic data collection in large-scale systems are described. A policy engine receives predicate/action pairs and an alerts policy, each predicate identifying an operating condition at a reporting module that can be evaluated as true or false, and a corresponding action identifying what the reporting module is to do upon the corresponding predicate being evaluated as true. The policy engine provides the predicate/action pairs to reporting modules to be installed as rules, which generate analytic data vectors and apply those vectors against the rules. The actions may cause the reporting modules to send the analytic data vectors as analytic report data to an analytics engine, which has been configured with the alerts policy received by the policy engine. The analytics engine applies received analytic report data against the alerts policy to determine whether to send alert event data to the policy engine or to perform a responsive action.

摘要: A method of spatially designing a workplace environment via a cloud platform, the method including: receiving user input providing a plurality of design requirements for a workplace environment design; identifying one or more functional blocks from a plurality of predefined functional blocks based at least on the plurality of design requirements, the predefined functional blocks graphically representing a plurality of work space designs, and the functional blocks graphically representing work spaces to be included in the workplace environment design; generating a customized functional list for the workplace environment design, the customized functional list including a list of each of the functional blocks and one or more attributes associated with each of the functional blocks; and generating a spatial plan view of the workplace environment design, the spatial plan view including a visual representation of each of the work spaces of the functional blocks spatially arranged within the workplace environment design.

摘要: An interest determination system includes a data acquisition unit configured to acquire a first data group indicating a feature of each word contained in user's dialog information; a first learning unit configured to learn by using a first input and output values, the first input value being set to a data group that associates the first data group with a second data group indicating a feature of a predetermined word, the first output value being set to information indicating whether there is a user's interest; and a determination unit configured to, when a data group that associates a third data group indicating a feature of a word to be determined with the first data group has been input to the first learning unit, determine whether there is a user's interest in the word to be determined, based on an output value output from the first learning unit.

摘要: A knowledge representation expansion apparatus includes: a predicate-argument structure analyzing unit for extracting a predicate and at least one argument from a text using a meaning representation language; an ontology unit for representing knowledge using a knowledge representation language, which is a structured format understandable by a computer, and for extracting a second predicate corresponding to a first predicate, which is extracted from the predicate-argument structure analyzing unit; and a knowledge representation unit for representing knowledge extracted from the text using the first predicate, when the similarity of the first predicate and the second predicate is equal to or less than a threshold value.

摘要: System component failure diagnosis is provided. In response to determining that a number of component failure cases corresponding to a complex system stored in a historical diagnosis database is less than a pre-defined threshold number of component failure cases, a system component failure root cause is predicted using a rule-based reasoning method. In response to determining that the number of component failure cases corresponding to the complex system is greater than or equal to the pre-defined threshold number of component failure cases, the system component failure root cause is predicted using the rule-based reasoning method and a machine learning method. The diagnosis accuracy of the system component failure root cause predicted by the rule-based reasoning method and the machine learning method is calculated using a cross-validation method. The performance of the rule-based reasoning method and the machine learning method is evaluated using a statistical process control method.

摘要: Constraint programming is used to solve problems that have many variables and that have many possible solutions. An interactive constraint solver application provides additional information to a user if a conflict arises between two choice-constraints so that the additional information can be used to resolve the conflict according to a model-constraint set up by an application developer. The additional information identifies a priority group, or queue, to which the constraint was added. Depending on the particulars included in the additional information, and the model-constraints, the conflict is resolved by the interactive constraint solver application.
