    摘要: A half thrust bearing having a semicircular shape includes a thrust bearing body having a slide surface that receives an axial force from a crankshaft, and thrust reliefs formed adjacent to respective end portions of the thrust bearing body. Wall thicknesses of the thrust reliefs decrease to the respective end portions. Each thrust relief length continuously increases in a direction from an inner circumference to an outer circumference of the half thrust bearing. Each thrust relief length is a length, in a direction perpendicular to a plane that includes an end portion of the half thrust bearing, from the plane to a point at which a surface of each thrust relief intersects an inner circumference of the thrust bearing body. The half thrust bearing includes a bearing alloy layer and a resin slide layer, or additionally a back metal layer. The slide surface includes the resin slide layer.

    摘要: A thrust bearing for receiving an axial force of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. The thrust bearing includes a pair of half thrust bearings having a semi-annular shape that form an annular shape by abutting their circumferential end surfaces. Each half thrust bearing include thrust reliefs formed adjacent to both circumferential end portions of a sliding surface receiving the axial force so that a wall thickness is thinner toward the circumferential end surface. A thrust relief length L2 at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a rear side of one of the half thrust beings in a rotational direction is larger than a thrust relief length L1 at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a front side of the other of the half thrust bearing in the rotational direction.

    摘要: A slide member is provided with a metal back, a bearing alloy layer disposed over a first surface of the metal back, and a diamond-like carbon layer disposed at least over a second surface of the metal back, the second surface being located on an opposite side of the first surface. The diamond-like carbon layer has a hardness equal to or less than 1000 HV and when subjected to infrared spectroscopy analysis, exhibits absorption wavenumbers of following wavenumbers (1) to (5) originating from different chemical bonding states: wavenumber (1): 2800-3100 cm−1, wavenumber (2): 1500-1800 cm−1, wavenumber (3): 1200-1500 cm−1, wavenumber (4): 3300-3600 cm−1, wavenumber (5): 730-930 cm−1.The relation (P1+P3)/(P1+P2+P3)≧0.50 is satisfied when an integrated value of absorption rate with respect to wavenumbers (1), (2), and (3) is represented as peak area values P1, P2, and P3, respectively.

    摘要: Provided is a sliding member which has high seizure resistance though an overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component is used therein. The sliding member of an embodiment comprises a base and an overlay layer which is disposed on the sliding-side surface of the base and which comprises Ag as the main component and contains Al. The overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component is relatively soft. Due to this, the overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component can ensure high seizure resistance even when the use of Pb is avoided. Furthermore, the overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component has excellent thermal conductivity. Due to this, frictional heat generating at the sliding part rapidly dissipates to the base side.

    摘要: In a copper-based slide member in which needle-shaped Mn—Si based compounds are dispersed in a brass structure, 50% or more of a total number of the needle-shaped Mn—Si based compounds having lengths of 50 μm or more in a major axis direction are constituted of a plurality of small particles. Thereby, even if the needle-shaped Mn—Si based compounds fall off during sliding, the small particles which constitute the needle-shaped Mn—Si based compounds may fall off. Thus, the frequency of falling off of the coarse needle-shaped Mn—Si based compound which damages a shaft and a bearing is decreased. Therefore, seizure hardly occurs.
