    摘要: The invention concerns a clamping element of a coupling device for releasably but axially and rotationally fixing tool components for dry machining (MMS technology) and for wet machining. The element provides a friction-type connection between the components to be coupled. A cooling tube is arranged at the center of the coupling device. The spindle is provided with an elongated hole run through which cooling tube passes. A variable contour between the base body and the clamping segment enables an increase in distribution of forces for the support of the clamping segments. The novel geometry of the clamping segments results in novel contours in the base body with smoother transitions, hence a better force distribution, thereby reducing material breakage and a more reliable and robust clamping. By virtue of their novel geometry, the clamping segments have an increased surface enabling larger clamping screws to be used.

    摘要: The invention concerns a wear-resistant coating on rotary metal-cutting tools such as drill bits, countersinks, milling cutters, screw taps, reamers, etc. The coating according to the invention consists essentially of nitrides of Cr, Ti and Al with a unusually high share of Cr atoms, namely 30 to 60% referred to the totality of metal atoms. In multilayer coatings and even more in coatings made of homogeneous mixed phases, this high Cr share results in particularly large tool life distances for the tools hardened with these coatings. These tools exhibit their superiority particularly during dry use without cooling lubricants or with minimal lubrication.

In order to allow precise adjustment of the cutter insert when little space is available, the clamping and adjustment apparatus has an adjustment wedge which can be actuated by means of a pressure screw in a direction (V) that extends essentially parallel to the seat surface. The adjustment wedge is accommodated in the cutter support in a form-fitted and displaceable manner. The cutter insert is supported on the adjustment wedge and can be adjusted by means of it. Moreover, a tool which is equipped with this clamping and adjustment apparatus is described as well as a tool cartridge which is used for it.

    摘要: The invention relates to a clamping system as a point of separation inside a tool or workpiece support system, or as an interface between a tool or workpiece support system and a machine tool for the detachable, non-positive connection of two clamping system parts. According to the present invention, it is proposed to coat at least one joining surface of a joining surface pairing between components of the clamping system parts that are to be connected in non-positive fashion with a layer of solid lubricant applied in an abrasion-resistant manner. On the one hand, this coating with solid lubricant enables significant improvement in the sliding characteristics of the joining surfaces, subjected to friction, of the components of the clamping system to be connected with one another. On the other hand, the joining surfaces, which are in addition subjected to a high surface pressure, exhibit improved corrosion characteristics. These characteristics ensure the required positional accuracy of the two clamping system parts, even in the case of tool or workpiece support systems rotating at high speed.

The shank tool is arranged in a tool holder, and comprises a clamping section, a conical shank end and at least one internal lubricant duct comprising an orifice located in a tapered surface of the shank end outside a shank tool axis.
