Abstract:
A push-type lock for fire-blocking door which includes a base body, a frame mounted on the base body, a latching member pivotally mounted on the frame, an actuating piece mounted also on the frame, and a safety release unit penetratingly secured for the frame. The safety release unit includes a rod member, an inner end and an outer end formed on both ends of the rod member respectively, a spiral spring coupled axially to the rod member and positioned between the inner end and an inner surface of the frame, and a hot-melt member sleeving the rod member between the outer end and an outer surface of the frame and subject to being melted away when heated. As a consequence of the hot-melt member being melted away, the rod member will be moved to the inside of the frame due to the compressed spiral spring, thus allowing the rod member to be moved to a position blocking up the way the latching member can be withdrawn to the inside of the frame. In this case, the latching member is prevented from being withdrawn to the inside of the frame, thus securely latching the door when a fire breaks out.
Abstract:
This invention provides a cloth winding device of a circular knitting machine. A gear box is provided on the swivel frame of the machine. In the box, there are provided sets of fine adjustment gears and adjacent coarse adjustment gears on their respective shafts so that power is transmitted from the coarse adjustment gears through the rear row gears to the fine adjustment gears and then outputs from the cloth pulling shaft. The cloth winding shaft on the opposite side is driven by the respective bevel gears. Thereby, a multiple of speed ratios can selectively obtained by means of the adjustment devices provided on the gear box. The cloth winding roller is driven by the cloth pulling shaft. By the cooperation of a rocking arm and its related spring, the cloth roller can be raised or lowered automatically in accordance with the size of the cloth roll.
Abstract:
An improved multi-functional ruler is disclosed comprising a body of a ruler including an axial seat and an axial rod having convex blocks at each of its two ends attached with rollers. The convex blocks are separately connected to the interior of axial nuts. The axial nuts and the axial seats are tightly fixed together, with an axial block located at a central part of the internal lateral side of the body of the ruler. When the axial rod of the forementioned structure is set in motion, it will not cause a tremendous area of friction with the body of the ruler. It will slide smoothly without causing any position shifting of the axial rod so as to enable lines to be accurately drawn. The axial block can function as a center from which circles of different diameters can be drawn.
Abstract:
An exercise tricycle comprises a rear wheel, a one-way forward wheel, a front steering wheel and a brake mechanism which together provide the user with excellent exercise results. One of the user's feet is placed on the front wheel pedal, while the other foot is placed on the pedal between the two rear wheels. The user's two hands may pull two ropes to actuate the one-way forward wheel to drive the spindle and the rear wheels to cause the tricycle to move forwards. Steering and brake functions are performed by operating the front pedal assembly.
Abstract:
An automatic optical levelling, plumbing and verticality-determining appartus includes: a base, a supporting and driving means adjustably standing on the base for supporting a frame having a plumb device secured to a horizontality calibrator universally pendulously mounted on the frame, a pair of plumb-line illuminators respectively secured on a top and a bottom portion of the plumb device for emitting an upper and a lower optical beam towards a ceiling and a ground floor for calibrating a vertical plumb line, a horizontal-line illuminator and a vertical-line illuminator symmetrically disposed on opposite ends of a T-shaped adapter mounted on a top of the plumb device and the horizontality calibrator for respectively emitting a horizontal optical line and a vertical optical line for determining or calibrating a horizontal plane and a vertical plane.
Abstract:
A securing device for bone fastener is provided, which allows the bone fastener to be more securely fixed in position in the fractured bone. The securing device includes a bolt having an elongated portion and a head portion, with the head portion being formed with a threaded through hole which is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bolt. Moreover, the securing device includes a set screw having a threaded portion which can screw into the threaded through hole in the bolt and which is greater in length than the threaded through hole. In use, the elongated portion of the bolt is inserted through the implantation hole and the opening in the fractured bone; then a hole is drilled through the inclined through hole in the head portion of the bolt; and finally the set screw is screwed through the inclined hole in the head portion of the bolt into the hole in the fractured bone. This allows the securing device to be fixed in position in the fractured bone, thus securing the bone fastener fixedly in position.
Abstract:
A dimensional adjusting device for computer keyboard racks including a displacement device, a rotary device, a connecting plate, an elevating device, an elevation device, and a positioning device. The invention is characterized in that a relay plate is disposed between a fixed track and movable track of one of two slide track units, the relay plate being connected to the movable track and having two plate wings at both sides thereof. The plate wings pass through corresponding track holes in the movable track to be further connected to a plate flap at either side of a fixed plate. The invention is further characterized in that the fixed plate has a positioning device disposed therein. The positioning device is comprised of a bottom cover disposed over a front portion of the fixed plate, and two trigger pieces. The bottom cover has a partition rib defining a clearance with a front wall of the bottom cover for receiving two oppositely disposed rods with a spring sandwiched therebetween. The rods each have a projection at an upper side and a stop portion at the other side. The bottom cover further has two cover posts at both sides behind the partition rib. The trigger pieces have respective pins, notches and end notches. The pins of the trigger pieces pass through corresponding through slots at a front edge of the fixed plate such that the notches engage the projections of the rods and the end notches engage the cover posts of the bottom cover. The positioning device further comprises a top cover for sealing the bottom cover so that the rods may advance along the fixed tracks during displacement, and are positioned in place when the rods pass over the fixed tracks to extend outwardly.
Abstract:
A radiator cover has an inner cover, a middle cover and an outer cover. The inner cover has a circular plate with a threaded post, a toothed disk with teeth on the top surface, two gaskets, a serpentine plug, a bolt and a circular washer.
