摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal layer and a light supply part providing light to the liquid crystal layer, and the liquid crystal layer and the light supply part are disposed between a first base substrate and a second base substrate. The light supply part is located inside the liquid crystal display to reduce a distance between the light supply part and the liquid crystal layer. Thus, the liquid crystal display may have reduced thickness and weight and enhanced brightness, thereby improving the display characteristics of the display.

摘要: A holder 1 is formed by laminating support members 3, 4 and 5 and passing holder holes 2 through them. A pair of needle members 9 and 10 are provided on either end of the coil spring 8. Each of the needle members 9 on one side is prevented from coming off by one of the support members 3. The length L between the flange portion 9b received in a large diameter hole 2b of the holder hole and the tip of the needle portion 10a is made substantially equal to the depth D of the large diameter hole 2b of the holder 1. Because the coil springs are thus placed substantially in an unstressed state, when at least one of the needle members is prevented from projecting from a corresponding end of the holder hole, the part that prevents the needle members from coming off is not subjected to a compressive load of the coil springs. Therefore, even when the holder is given with a small thickness, warping or deflecting of the holder can be avoided, and material having a small coefficient of thermal expansion such as ceramic material can be used for the holder.

摘要: A hair transplant apparatus and method capture a hair graft into a hair graft chamber readily aligned for implantation into the human scalp. The hair graft can be placed into the hair graft chamber manually or mechanically (e.g., by vacuum). A hair transplant apparatus includes a gas-permeable stopper for utilizing gas flow to load and/or implant a hair graft. Another hair transplant apparatus includes a gas-permeable rod inside a housing. Vacuum may be utilized to load a hair graft into the hair graft chamber. The rod may be advanced toward an open distal end of the chamber so the end of the rod becomes substantially flush with the distal end, thereby pushing the hair graft out of the chamber and into the pre-made wound. Advantageously, the chamber is aligned with the direction of the pre-made wound allowing the hair graft to slide easily into the pre-made wound without damage. Extraneous forces are eliminated by the alignment of the chamber to the wound, thus creating a linear path for the hair graft to move without obstruction to finally settle in the scalp wound.

摘要: In an LCD apparatus, a pixel area defined by data lines and gate lines intersected with each other has a V-shape. A first electrode having the V-shape is formed in the pixel area disposed adjacent to a data line corresponding to a present stage among the data lines so as to partially cover the pixel area and a second electrode having the V-shape is formed in the pixel area adjacent to a data line corresponding to a previous stage among the data lines so as to cover the pixel area partially. A pixel electrode is partially overlapped with the first and second electrodes or spaced apart from the first and second electrodes in a predetermined interval. Accordingly, a width of a light-shielding layer for covering the first and second electrodes and an interval between the data line and the first and second electrodes may be reduced, thereby enhancing a transmittance and a response time.
