Abstract: A protection circuit for use with a power source includes a Zener diode, a first resistor, and a second resistor, which together define its maximum voltage threshold. The power source is configured to provide an input voltage to an electrical load. The protection circuit further includes a shorting device and a current-limiting safety device. When the input voltage is less than the maximum voltage threshold, the shorting device is maintained in an off-state, causing the input voltage to be provided to the electrical load. When the input voltage is greater than or equal to the maximum voltage threshold, the shorting device switches to the on-state and electrically shorts the power source to a ground, causing the current-limiting safety device to break an electrical connection between the power source and an input point electrically connected to the electrical load, such that the electrical load is electrically disconnected from the power source.

Abstract: An optically transparent antenna stack includes at least two stacked optically transparent antennas. Each antenna includes an electrically conductive metal mesh including a plurality of interconnected electrically conductive metal traces defining a plurality of enclosed open areas. The metal mesh of each antenna and each lead has a percent open area greater than about 50%. The at least two stacked optically transparent antennas includes a first antenna configured to operate over a first, but not a second, frequency band and a second antenna configured to operate over the second, but not the first, frequency band. The optically transparent antenna stack has an optical transmission of at least about 50% for at least one wavelength in a wavelength range from about 450 nm to about 600 nm.

Abstract: Methods for active data center management by injecting randomized controlled signals in the operational controls of the cooling infrastructure of the data center and receiving response signals corresponding with the injected signals. The injected signals are used to adjust the operational controls of the cooling infrastructure, and the response signals relate to the operational conditions in the data center. Based upon the response signals along with independent and external variables, the randomized signals are continually injected into the cooling infrastructure and fine-tuned based upon the response signals. Optimum or improved parameters for controlling the cooling infrastructure of the data center are determined based upon the signal injections and corresponding responses.

Abstract: The invention relates to a composition for isolating tissue, the composition comprising a radiation curable component A1, preferably being present in an amount of at least 40 wt. % with respect to the composition, the radiation curable component A1 comprising a polyether polyol spacer group having a molecular weight (Mw) of 1,000 to 20,000 g/mol, and at least two (meth)acrylate moieties, photo-initiator, guanidyl containing polymer, carrageenan, optionally softener, optionally dye, optionally filler, optionally additives. The invention also relates to a process for temporarily isolating tissue, the process comprising the steps of providing the composition described in any of the preceding claims, placing the composition in contact with tissue, radiation curing the composition at least partially for a time period T1, optionally moving or adjusting the partially cured composition, optionally radiation curing the partially cured composition for a time period T2, wherein T2>T1, removing the composition from the tissue.
