Abstract:
Disclosed herein are novel compounds of Formula (1) as defined in the specification having excellent inhibitory activity against dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV), methods of preparing the same and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same as an active agent.
Abstract:
A method of automatically executing an application in accordance with the change of an axis of a display in a mobile communication terminal is provided, which includes sensing the change of the axis of the display by using an axis sensor mounted on the display, taking a picture so that a direction indicated by the display can be taken by using a camera mounted on the mobile communication terminal if the display is in a horizontal viewing mode as the result of sensing, performing a face recognition by analyzing an image of the taken picture, and determining whether to execute the application in accordance with the result of face recognition.
Abstract:
An impulse generation circuit is provided for generating an impulse using a transmission line. Impulse characteristics of the impulse generation circuit are varied with the length of a transmission line rather than the characteristic variation of various devices used therein. The length of the transmission line is adjusted, such that a width of a generated pulse is adjusted. Because an end of the transmission line is short-circuited, the transmission line length can be easily adjusted on a substrate, and a ringing phenomenon due to re-reflection can be removed using termination impedance.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and an apparatus for self-calibrating direct current (DC) offset and imbalance between orthogonal signals, which may occur in a mobile transceiver. In the apparatus, a transmitter of a mobile terminal functions as a signal generator, and a receiver of the mobile terminal functions as a response characteristic detector. Further, a baseband processor applies test signals to the transmitter, receives the test signals returning from the receiver, and compensates the imbalance and DC offset for the transmitter side and the receiver side by using the test signals.
Abstract:
Provided is a CMOS RF IC comprises an inductor that is formed in the uppermost two or more metal layers among a plurality of metal layers; and a DC bias circuit that is formed in a metal layer provided at the bottom of the metal layers in which the inductor is formed.
Abstract:
A method of a mobile communication terminal displaying channels, and more particularly, to a mobile communication terminal that is capable of multi-displaying contents information that is composed of independent channels are provided. The mobile communication terminal comprises an input unit for a user inputting commands in order to read or check contents information, a communication unit for transmitting contents information on channels to a service server and for receiving the contents information on channels from the service server through a communication network, a display unit for displaying the contents information that is provided from the service server or the contents information that is stored in the mobile communication terminal on a window screen, a storage unit for storing the contents information and contents information screen forming programs that enable the contents information to be composed of independent channels, and a control unit for updating the previously stored contents information to corresponding recent contents information, for forming a requested screen in accordance with the input of a user, and for assigning resources so that the plurality of contents information items are multi-displayed on one display screen.
Abstract:
A current mode logic (CML)-CMOS converter comprises an input stage that is turned on/off by receiving an input voltage from the outside; a voltage control unit that outputs a constant voltage; a first switching unit that is connected to the input stage and the voltage control unit and is turned on/off by the constant voltage applied from the voltage control unit; and a second switching unit that is connected to the input stage and is turned on/off by a signal applied from the input stage.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for correcting a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of an antenna of a mobile terminal, which can detect if a Micro-Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) reconfigurable antenna for wireless communication contacts a foreign substance, to correct an SNR of the antenna. The mobile terminal having the MEMS reconfigurable antenna changes the MEMS reconfigurable antenna and calculates an SNR during execution of the wireless communication, thereby setting the MEMS reconfigurable antenna to an antenna form corresponding to a greatest SNR.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method are provided for compensating for signal distortion in a fixed broadband wireless access system. A coefficient extractor determines state information of a data input channel used by a terminal for performing wireless access communication, extracts a compensation coefficient value of a signal according to the channel state information, and outputs the extracted compensation coefficient value. An equalizer compensates for signal distortion according to a channel state with the compensation coefficient value based on the input channel state information input from the coefficient extractor.
