    摘要: A virus-inactivated Factor-Xa preparation with at least 100 units coagulation factor activity per mg protein is described, wherein this preparation is produced by activation of a corresponding starting material and subsequent treatment for the inactivation of infectious agents, particularly viruses. By incubation, the preparation obtained in this manner is transformed into a stable beta-Factor Xa preparation. In addition, the use of the present preparation for the treatment of hemophilia A inhibitor patients is disclosed.

    摘要: The invention provides a kit for measuring the thrombin generation in a sample of a patient's blood or plasma, or in a sample of clotting factors. The kit contains lyophilized tissue factor/phospholipid-complex and a lyophilized mixture containing a thrombin-substrate and CaCl2. The invention also provides processes for preparing the reagents for the kit. The kit can be used in a method for measuring the thrombin generation in a sample, wherein it is possible to detect changes in thrombin generation kinetics, for example after administration of inhibitor bypassing agents to a patient who has developed inhibitors to an exogenous clotting factor such as Factor VIII.

    摘要: The present invention provides analytical methods for detecting anti-polymer antibody in an individual. The methods involve contacting a sample from the individual with a water soluble polymer-modified carrier and detecting binding of antibody to the water soluble polymer on the water soluble polymer-modified carrier wherein binding is indicative of the presence of antibody to the water polymer-modified polypeptide. Antibody may be detected to water soluble polymers such as polyethylene glycol, polysialic acid, dextran, hydroxyalkyl starch, or hydroxyethyl starch. When antibody to the water soluble polymer polyethylene glycol is to be detected, the carrier is modified with a non-linear polyethylene glycol derivative.
