Abstract:
In an engine having a plurality of cylinders in which a plurality of fuel injection valves are provided respectively, fuel is injected at a predetermined injection ratio, and an abnormality of air-fuel ratio variation is detected. If a fuel injection amount of at least one of the plurality of the fuel injection valves is smaller than a predetermined reference value, the fuel injection amount is increased so as to become equal to or larger than the reference value.
Abstract:
An abnormality detection apparatus for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine changes a fuel injection quantity of a predetermined target cylinder to detect an abnormality of an internal combustion engine based on values of rotational variations relating to the target cylinder detected before and after the change of the fuel injection quantity. The abnormality detection apparatus corrects the values of the rotational variations relating to the target cylinder detected before and after the change of the fuel injection quantity based on at least one of the number of revolutions of the engine and an engine load at a corresponding detection time.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method and an apparatus for displaying anti-aliased graphic objects. Anti-aliasing in prior art is often concentrated at the relationship between foreground object and background view, and such a case where plural objects reside in the same pixel is not necessarily put in the consideration. The present invention offers to provide “colored” subpixels for each pixel thereto render a plurality of anti-aliased graphic objects together in the same frame. Since the colored subpixels are generated with two different memories, they cannot be alpha blended. The transparent representation is to be processed with determination of active subpixels smaller in number than the number of subpixels, thereby shrinking the coverage of rendering objects in respective pixels. These active subpixels are selected through bit masks, and plural bit masks are provided to control transparent levels of graphic objects.
Abstract:
A belt unit of an electrophotographic printing apparatus, includes: two rollers for supporting a belt so as to be substantially in parallel with each other; two frames for supporting the rollers and attached to opposite ends of one of the rollers respectively so as to be perpendicular to the rollers; two support members attached to opposite ends of the other roller so as to be perpendicular to the rollers; two elastic members interposed between the two support members and the two frames respectively; and a belt mounting guide provided between the two frames. The belt mounting guide includes a rotating shaft disposed in parallel with the rollers, and an edge portion inclined relative to an axial direction of the rotating shaft.
Abstract:
A film loader for the image forming apparatus has a film formed endlessly and a film frame for holding the film, wherein a guide member for attaching or detaching the film with respect to the film loading portion of the film frame is formed by a packaging member for use in transporting and storing the film.
Abstract:
In a printing system including first image forming means (A) for forming a first image on a recording medium (7) based on first image information, fixing means (13, 14 and 15) for subjecting the recording medium bearing the first image thereon to at least heating operation so as to fix the first image onto the recording medium, and second image forming means (B) for forming a second image on the recording medium, which has passed through the fixing means, based on second image information, there is provided correcting means for correcting the second image information based on a quantity of heat shrinkage of the recording medium generated by the heating operation in the fixing means.
Abstract:
There is provided a PLO device which performs high-accuracy, high-quality clock recovery. A shifted data generation part generates shifted data, and a first phase comparison part outputs first difference data. A first filter removes an alternating-current component from the first difference data and outputs a first detection voltage. A delay part delays input data for a time corresponding to half of one time slot with the use of an analog delay element and outputs delayed data. A second phase comparison part compares the phases of the input data and delayed data with each other and outputs second difference data. A second filter removes an alternating-current component from the second difference data and outputs a second detection voltage. An arithmetic section divides the first detection voltage by the second detection voltage to obtain a control voltage. A clock oscillation section outputs recovered clock based on the control voltage.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus has an endless belt which serves as an image carrier is characterized by reduced image misregistration and reduced machining cost. When the endless belt feed path is divided into a path from a drive roller to a tension roller, and a path from the tension roller to the drive roller, the eccentricity of an idle roller located on the path on the side including a latent image forming point is set to a value smaller than that of an idle roller located on the path not including the image forming point.
Abstract:
In an image forming apparatus, attachment/detachment guide pins (10 and 11) are disposed on a side face of a belt cartridge (12). Attachment/detachment guide grooves (30, 31, and 32) which guide the attachment/detachment guide pins (10 and 11) are disposed in a frame (29) of a main unit of an image forming apparatus. A belt tension applying mechanism including a tension link (13) and a spring (15) is disposed on the side of the apparatus main unit. When the belt cartridge (12) is to be attached to the apparatus main unit, the cartridge is attached along the attachment/detachment guide grooves (30, 31, and 32), so that the rotation shaft of a tension roller (4) is easily and surely engaged with the belt tension applying mechanism (13 and 15).
Abstract:
A composite insulator includes a hollow and tapered core portion composed of fiber-reinforced plastics, and a sheath and sheds composed of an insulating polymeric material integrally molded on the outer surface of the core portion. The core portions of composite insulators for a plurality of voltage classes are formed by using a mandrel assembly in which a plurality of mandrel members are combined. The so-prepared core portion is placed within a mold unit in accordance with the voltage class of the composite insulator to be manufactured, and the insulating polymeric material is poured into the mold cavity to integrally mold the sheath and the sheds.
