摘要: A multilayer ceramic capacitor component includes a ceramic capacitor body having opposite ends and comprised of a plurality of electrode layers and dielectric layers, first and second external terminals attached to the ceramic capacitor body. The plurality of electrode layers include a plurality of alternating layers of active electrodes extending inwardly from alternating ends of the ceramic capacitor body. The capacitor may include a plurality of side shields disposed within the plurality of alternating layers of active electrodes to provide shielding with the alternating layers of active electrodes having a pattern to increase overlap area to provide higher capacitance without decreasing separation between the alternative layers of active electrodes. The capacitor may have a voltage breakdown of 3500 volts DC or more in air. The capacitor may have a coating. The capacitor provides improved resistance to arc-over, high voltage breakdown in air, and allows for small case size.

摘要: Apparatus for obtaining depth profile information from a transparent object, includes a confocal scanner for producing an en-face image of the object in an x-y plane, a spectral optical coherence tomography (OCT) apparatus for producing an OCT scan along at least one line in the z direction passing through a point in the x-y plane, and a display device. A processing unit displays on the display device the en-face image and an indication of the position of the point so as to permit the location of the OCT scan to be determined on the en-face image. The position point can be adjusted by the user when viewing the image. In other embodiments, SLO and OCT images are produced from a common aperture, and spectral OCT images are produced simultaneously with fluorescence images.

摘要: A method of constructing a package having printed indicia of acceptable quality includes providing at least one layer of foamed thin film wherein the layer of foamed thin film has a caliper of between 10 and 250 microns and comprises between 5% to 50% density reduction as compared to a non-foamed thin film of substantially the same caliper and composition. A first surface of the at least one layer of foamed thin film is the printed surface of the package. The indicia is printed on the printed surface by applying ink to a printer surface and contacting the printed surface with the inked printer surface to coat the printed surface with ink. The printer surface includes a plurality of dots configured to contact the printed surface to imprint the indicia on the printed surface. The surfaces of the dots have a dot percentage of no more than about 70%.

摘要: A package includes at least one layer of foamed thin film and an opening feature formed in the layer of foamed thin film. The foamed thin film has a caliper of from about 10 microns to about 250 microns thick. The foamed thin film comprises from about 5% to about 50% density reduction as compared to a non-foamed thin film of substantially the same caliper and substantially the same composition. The package may include foamed thin film made of a plastic resin and a whitening additive that is added to plastic resin. The whitening additive is selected to produce a foamed thin film having an opacity value of from about 35% to about 99%. The whitening agent is of substantially the same composition and is present in substantially the same amount as would be selected to produce substantially the same light reflectivity in a non-foamed thin film of substantially the same caliper and substantially the same composition.
